4 Meat Pizza Burger on the Griddle -- Collab with the Waltwins!

- This easy 4 meat pizza burger on the griddle is loaded with all the pizza flavor that you crave, but in smash burger form! And it’s an extra special video, because it’s my first ever collab with the Waltwins!
I was super honored and grateful to be asked to collab with the Waltwins for their special 100,000 subscribers video in which they get their RUclips Play Button plaque! Congrats to them on such an achievement!
And when they suggested that we make a pizza burger on the griddle, the culinary wheels in my brain immediately started turning… and I’ve got a great flat top grill burger that’s super flavorful and super unique to share with you!
For the pizza burger meat, I used a 50/50 blend of ground Italian sausage and ground chuck. I just mixed the two meats together and then made smash burger balls that are about 4 ounces each.
And I don’t know about you, but when I order pizza, I get the Meat Lovers… so we used 4 different meats for our pizza burger - ground chuck, Italian sausage, bacon, and pepperoni.
I topped my burger patties with fresh sliced mozzarella cheese and a super delicious and easy “marinara jam” - Just take your favorite jarred marinara sauce and heat it in a pan on your griddle until it reduces and becomes thicker. Makes for an awesome spread for your pizza burger.
And we can’t forget about the bun… I used ciabatta rolls and made them into a garlic cheese bread with butter, olive oil, seasoned salt, garlic powder, and fresh grated paremsan cheese.

This channel deserves way more than 22k subscribers. My god, just your energy alone deserves 100k. Add another 100k for your wife's behind-the-camera perspective. Add another 500k for the actual content, and the recipe selection. Add another 1m because I know this channel is gonna blow the fuck up once the algorithm catches you guys.
Y'all make fantastic content and it has thoroughly inspired me to get one of these.... probably the pit boss, mostly because of the drain hole, and the hood. But either way, great channel. Can't wait to see you guys blow up into a big channel!
To elaborate:
Your wife's natural camera angling is really good. It follows natural curious perspective very well. At least for me.
You are very well spoken and you explain your processes well.
Your wife has a keen sense of when to supplement your explanation with something you've missed or mistaken.
You have great enthusiasm for what you're doing and are about to do.
You have great rhythm with your wife and you guys go back and forth very organically.
Your wife constantly requests sample tastes, which perfectly mirrors what I as the audience am thinking at that moment.
You seem technically pretty darn savvy on the flat top, so it helps me feel confident learning this craft from you.
+I've got a pretty decent natural palate, so I feel like I can literally taste y'all's videos. It's great.
plus.... and honestly most importantly... it seems like you guys are super genuine. Nothing about you seems fake or acted up or anything superficial. And that's a really nice breath of fresh air.
This is "the wife" commenting... I hope Neal doesn't mind that I hijacked his comments section since he's already in bed asleep to get ready for going to his "real job" tomorrow... I just wanted to hop on and say thanks so much for your super nice comment! Neal is a really good and honest guy, and he really is the exact same way in real life as what you see on camera... and our actual relationship/marriage is just as kooky, too... though as our 12 year old daughter has gotten older, we've had to dial back the innuendos a bit! Haha! Nope. I think it’s do able but i have said before…. Somethings need a oven. Not saying its cant be done but that high heat for the dough to rise plus the circulation of air needed just isnt available on a ftg

I like things from both.... Like your combo of meat, and the crusty Parm garlic bread on chibatta.... Crispy inside soft outside.... Better mouth feel not ruining the roof of your mouth with toasted bread, also liked the thickness of your sauce but, would have use the sauce they used, Victoria's is very good for jarred sauce but, each their own. They also, put a layer of pepperoni between the burgers, nice touch, maybe the peppers or more pepperoni between the patties?? Both are with trying, great job! Oh, no basil on theirs... Thumbs up!!

Confused...so no need to add oil before cooking? i was adding some when done and then again the start of the nex days cook..Please clarify
Not on the Ceramic from Pit Boss...i have a video where I go over in detail where I messed mine up and that was one of them...You can add oil to griddle when cooking,..but only in the spot you are cooking in...if you only use half..dont oil the whole thing....it will burn and start to cake up...causing you to clean harder..

Not much except the color scheme. I have talked to the Waltwins and we dont see a difference. Definitely a question you can ask em. Since its a Walmart exclusive I think its just branded different by color. All the talking points are the same.

Where did you chef at in WY? I used to eat at T-Joes in Cheyenne. Just curious. I have to say it was THE best steak in the country! Im in Missouri but would go to WY just to get that prime rib at T-Joes!!

First time here, Waltwins (sp?) sent me. If I were judging just on looks you would have won, had this been a competition and not a collaboration. You are like all of these flattop guys and leave us to guess at how hot that surface should be. I don't have a dedicated griddle I use a cast iron griddle on my gas grill and having a temperature idea would be great. The smash burger I turn it up full blast and start when it is 500-600 degrees, but some of the other things you cook it would be nice to have a clue of how hot it should be? Thanks, I will check you out for a bit.
