Yeah, japanese sweets are very lightly sweetened compared to western sweets/candy! Making them yourself means you can make them how you like it! 😊

Had seen the mitarashi dango recipe video with tofu or no tofu but not this one, which is very nice as well. Pretty cool information on the colors of the dango, never heard that before. Liking a lot how simple, well explained and straight to the point your video is. Subarashii.

@@emilykate2624 It did the second time! For the first try, I used the wrong flour... It looked amazing! But it tasted weird and had a gritty texture.
The second try, I bought the rice flour at an Asian supermarkt and it was delicious! It was soft and chewy with a sweet rice flavor 😊

I tried it and it was so good! It was very easy to make, and I will definitely be making it again! I would recommend putting in more sugar, because it wasn’t very sweet. Other than that, it was delicious!
Ah I remember I really wanted to try out making dango, unfortunately the first time didn't work but hopefully it'll succeed when I make em next time ^^ it's been a year or more anyway and I've certainly improved. Exciting to try it out!
