Thanks! The scale issue is partially perspective. The Connie is a bit forward and, therefore, closer to the camera. For the fun part, though, they're only 13 meters apart in height. So from that perspective, they're actually very close. Length and width? Not so much.
It's partly perspective. The Constitution starts out ahead and closer to the camera. The other part is the fact that the Sovereign is only 13 meters taller than a Constitution Refit.
Love the star streaks, a much better feel of deep space travel. Contemporary effects don't bring that sense of depth and romance to the imagery of space travel, too much of a zip here zip there kind of vibe. Those scenes of traversing through space seem lend character to the ships and space itself. I wish someone would create something new, a sort of bridge between the two types of visuals. But still, my hats off to all the creators of these visuals, bringing content far greater than anything that I could ever create.
I've always loved this particular effect. It shows speed, but is also more subtle. The effect is there, but doesn't detract from the subject of the shot, the ship/ships. The new effects are just, for lack of a better term, gawdy. They also look too much like Hyperspace for my liking. I prefer when each franchise is distinct.
The U.S.S. Eagle NCC-956. This is from a fanfic universe I've been working on forever that runs mostly parallel to the OG. It's mainly from the perspective of an "original" character of mine who is long-lived and was involved with a great many Trek historical events. He doesn't change any of the OG outcomes, but is a new voice involved at times. Most of his career, however, is spent on other ships besides the ones from the shows/movies. So, I wanted a ship that existed in the canon, but had little to no info or canon stories about her. The Eagle fit the bill for the mid-to-late 23rd century. Then in a story, she makes an appearance in the late 24th century as well. As seen partly here. Crap. Sorry for the novel.
Wrong music. Would ZZ Top not let you use a song clip?😊
Star streaks look great. Reminds me of Voyager.
Scale of the Connie is rather large but really great look and feel overall.

The two best Enterprises, ever. Ever.
Absolutely! But the original 1701 is still fabulous!
Ah, yes, warp speed “cross the galaxy in a day”.
Lieutenant Dan! She's got legs!
❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤
constitution class looks a little large next to the sovereign

Absolutely GORGEOUS! 🤓💖🖖
