Been a while since I've seen any recent videos on this beauty of a boat. Still as epic as always! Safe to say that when I eventually design my own personal craft that it'll be partly based off of this one. :D ⚓🌊
Well noted that drone catching is stressful. Riding those waves? Walk in the park! Got to love the brutal maths of this Barracuda: 1 HP for 10kg displacement and for 10mm of boat length. 43 knots is more rocket than boat though 😁
Copes like a beast. If it's hit from the side and rolls, it self-rights itself, i.e. waves alone will not sink it. ruclips.net/video/Y2i1fOJ-itw/видео.html
Don’t wanna be negative, cause it’s a awesome engineered boat, but would the real test be to put it sideways to those waves? That is what will happen when something eventually goes wrong? Or am I see this wrong?
Surly it is a sea trial to test the boats reaction and performance. Are you saying he can't drive/ pilot the boat? Watch his other videos. The guy owns the company that make some of the best boats of its type in the world. He has also been involved in record attempts.
@@HarveyPaul007 i know it is a sea trial, I'm saying they did great, because of the seaworthiness of the vessel and bc he knows how to drive it on rough seas, what i meant was that even though it handles rough seas greatly, it would only be great when owned/driven by someone else if he/she is experienced at navigating rough seas. Cheers!
Nice video! I have a question related to last scene on catching the drone: which is the safest way to catch it while on a moving / sailing boat (and your boat indeed was on motion...)? I . I have a a Mavic Mini not easy to grab by the hand... and actually liked the way you did it. Can you give me more details? Thanks
Put quite simply, surface piercing propellers operate half in and half out of the water in the planing wake region of a boat just behind the boats transom. Having the propeller at the surface level reduces drag and reduces the vessels draft, making the surface drive suitable for many applications where the owner is looking to reduce fuel costs, increase speed and create a more efficient vessel.
@SaltyBrains Do you have any idea who the hell you are talking about? grow up! In seas like that, any boat takes skill to manage and the fact you don't think so says a lot about your (lack of) experience.
GREETINGS ARE THE BEST AND SAFEST BOATS THAT I HAVE SEEN GOD HAS TO HELP ME TO HAVE A BOAT OF THE ONE THAT YOU MANUFACTURE TO EVERYONE TESTING HIGH TIDES PERFECT FOR ALL OCCASIONS
✋❤️😊 🌹🙏✌️Extra Good job🤝😘👍 Wow. Great view, I love to see new places 👍❤️ Great movie 👍👋 Bravo 👋 And I have a new movie from a walk around the city 😊 Yours sincerely, DJ Janusz from Warsaw Poland 🇵🇱😘🙏✋
Have they sold any? This thing has been in RUclips videos for years. Has any military or Coast Guard bought it? Also this thing could do with a Seakeeper!
The ocean has met its match with Frank and his amazing boats..Thanks guys..
I love that boat! Those are pretty powerful engines for a boat that size, and the surface drives are just downright nasty! Love it!
Your boats are the most incredible designs I have ever seen. Wish my fishing boat performed like this.
Love these boats; a dream for seafarers like myself who love going out in all weather conditions
And suddenly there was a cry of a thousand waves as Haulover feared the day this boat roars through its inlet.
Lol. The haul over captains would still manage to sink this.
Somehow...
now that is funny
I'd pay to see that!

C’mon guys, you have to get one of these beasts to Haulover to show the yanks how it’s really done 👍🏻🍺🍺🍺🛥💨💨💨💨🇦🇺🇦🇺🇦🇺🇦🇺
Wouahhh ... I love this boat, it is the only one where I would have no fear of going on the water! Total confidence: 100%! 👍😉
I love watching videos of thunderstorms and then I listen to music I like like delta parole or metallica! Nothing better and more relaxing like that!
Ride the lightning
Frank, do you know you have the best job in the world? I guess you do! ;-) Enjoying all the video's you and your team put out! Cheers!

Your craft are the ultimate, just brilliant footage.
Frankie, this must have been a fantastic ride👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍
Well done to the drone pilot as one myself I know how hard it is to fly from a moving fast boat!!! nice job!!!!! looks fun all the same!!...
I can’t get enough of these boats and the sea trials, pls make the videos longer 👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻🍺🍺🇦🇺🇦🇺🇦🇺
I used to love doing this on my powerful jet ski, waiting and skiping the big waves, got turned over a few times, brilliant buzz.
Awesome boat, nice drone catch in the net.👍
What we wouldn't do to see this during an actual mission! Such a great piece of engineering, need more
Brilliant! Well done to the designers and engineers

Awesome Boat!Great Test Video!Thanks Mates!
Calm serene and peaceful, Frank's face. Good job
Best in the business, congratulations on another successful design and deployment
I love these videos. Great drone footage mate!!
Quite a boat and impressive Drone 🇺🇸👍
If Frank and his team are behind it. It’s solid.
Great Video & I LUV The Very Smart Drone Recovery w/A Big Net! Thanks
Incredible. Thank you! Go to the sea with the family safely.
I can see a million fantastic screenshots. Fantastic video as usual. 👍
Now THAT looks like fun! I have always loved storms at sea.. but in this tiny boat Well, damn, like a rubber duck in the bath..
Fantástico vídeo cómo siempre, me encanta el Barracuda, muy marinero, líneas agresivas, otro diseño fantástico!
👍
Superb footage, now turn and put that big flat transom to the following sea and waves. Let the fun begin!!
That's an interesting method of washing the glass and decks of that boat. Probably more fun than a hose and a brush.
Was out kayak fishing the Occoquan River and saw this boat docked on my way back in... sweet I saw it in the water
The best damn boats on the surface of the planet !!
Congratulaciones Frank!
I love the net catch,,,that was incredible but so was the whole video,, thanks for posting
Love it. All that was missing was the corn chowder and martinis!!!
Well noted that drone catching is stressful. Riding those waves? Walk in the park!
Got to love the brutal maths of this Barracuda: 1 HP for 10kg displacement and for 10mm of boat length.
43 knots is more rocket than boat though 😁
Simply amazing!! 💚from Minnesota
Haha!! So calm, had some nice big breaking seas.
Great video. I would love to see those big waves hit the boat sideways on to see how it would cope.

I’m impressed there’s no sea sickness! I’d be barfing in seconds! 🙂
This would be a blast on Lake Superior.
I have been waiting for the latest video for a long time🙏
Great boat indeed!👍
Wow nice videos my friend
Awesome product!
That looks fun!!
How many drones have you lost! Superb boats by the way👌
Агонь просто! Супер катер! Разработчик молодчина. Умничка. Прям сильно хочю такой. Но это мечта, сильно дорого! :(((
I get queasy just watching this. How can they be looking through cameras and looking at screens and not be sick as heck?
some people can't. Me? I'd be asleep in a bunk.
You know my lottery win is just around the corner Frank. I'm gonna be hanging on your office door soon! 😁
Is it a boat? Is it a submarine? No, it's a Baracuda. Greetings from Bavaria
Whoooeee yeha awesome ride love it.
Amazing boat
Esta barca se mueve mas que los precios ❤😎🤠
Outstanding...
What's it like broadside onto one of those big waves?
Shut the bulkhead door n strap yourself in. Enjoy the ride
Having flashbacks of last years boating season on Nantucket sound
looks like you try to keep the surfacing drives stopped or no load when they are out of the water? if so, all manual?
Take it to the Coast of Portugal during the Surfing Championships !!!
Oh sorry , Your boat or submersible is 👍 and your handling is unmatched though I am a pretty good helmsman but congrats on a superb vessel.
W/dual surface drives?! NICEEEEEEESHHH!
Love it!
Such a nice boat and we couldn't lose that wiper squeak?
Don’t wanna be negative, cause it’s a awesome engineered boat, but would the real test be to put it sideways to those waves? That is what will happen when something eventually goes wrong? Or am I see this wrong?
Not for me to say but they have passed all of the rollover tests. See videos.
Watch the roll over test video where the boat self rights.
Is it possible to buy this as a yacht? Capable in rough waves and have a nice seating area etc
Come to Nazaré in Portugal 🇵🇹 best spot to boat test!
Pretty f ing cool....
Great 👍👍👍
Finally. I meet the man with the same name as I.
I love the way you make these boats, then do your best to smash them under the guise of sea trials. A bit like testing matches...
Drone 📷 Super iam form kerala
What an incredible vessel. What's happens with a full on broadside?
why props instead of jet engine? just curious. Thanks! great sea worthiness for sure! but it sure needs to be paired to good driving.

simple, a net...
I didn`t see any waves on the Broadside ya`ll need to show this machine off. Let this do a few flips you have harnesses
Simply outstanding! How much does this vessel cost please?
It’s for the us navy, they dgaf what it costs
in a 12.5 m rescue boat, how heavy is her keel in order to handle the roughest of sea? thanks, have a nice day.
Now design a yacht that can handle the same. these guy's are fa-nominal in their designs. Beautiful as is the Thunder Child.
Check out Dashew Offshore. I don’t think it is self righting but more like a knife through rough seas.
Let’s see how it does at pipeline?
what is the advantage of surface drive propulsion over conventional systems?

What are the issues with them vs the aft diving platform? Id never think of them as in any way friendly to people in the water there!
Looks like a space ship with the water crashing on the windows
JENIUS MODEL TERBARU BARACUDA
British Maritime Design & Expertise at it's best :)
You mean Irish?
how come they dont test rear into wave, or rear 45, or side into wave, testing head in is like best case scenrio to me.
Props can't possibly get much bite in that white water.
Mean machine!
Do you guys go over Niagara falls in a barrel to relax?😁
😂😂😂
Great footage of yet another amazing build Frank, I tend to think the helmsman may have something to do with the way she runs as well as the design :)
@SaltyBrains You are kidding, right? Never coxed anything larger than an 18 ft tinny, have you?
@SaltyBrains Do you have any idea who the hell you are talking about? grow up! In seas like that, any boat takes skill to manage and the fact you don't think so says a lot about your (lack of) experience.
It's either extreme dedication to your customers...
Or a serious case of "barking mad"...
To idle in front of waves like that. Perhaps a bit of both?
Even as I wrote that, I thought "Barking Mad" wouldn't be a bad name for an ale.
Good idea catching the drone that way. Any issues with propeller damage?

is this the same bloke who does them thunderclap boats?.
I'd love to pilot this thing through monster surf.
It must be shallow water always been that rough?!
When are they going to make a sports boat that can do the same!
Do you really need to blast the music?
Need to see it take green water on the bow and some seas on the stern please
