Great ideas. I appreciate your heart to share, cutting to the chase, and making it interesting. I plan to check out your other videos. I'm in the process of up-converting a van. :)
Great video. 1. Where did you get the corian? 2. What did you cut it with? 3. Is the induction cook top 12 V or 120. This is exactly my plan for my class C Thank you
Hi Bill, After 3 years how did your Corian countertop in the kitchen hold up? Is the 1/2 inch Corian okay or would you have gone thicker if you were to do this again? How much did the Corian weigh? Thanks Mike
@@mikeha9676 man is amazing yes 1/2 inch thick. Just did 9200 miles Colorado to Texas to south Florida up east coast to Maine and back. Formica was almost as heavy. Do it! Take care
Hey Bill, awesome video. I am planning on doing this with our kitchen countertop as well. Press-wood junk is looking bad. Now I need to know, where did you get your Corian countertop?
LOOKS AWESOME! I love the bone color…to me much nicer than the stark white that so many people are doing now. Thanks for showing ur reno. What grit of sandpaper did u use? Thanks:)
I used 180 on edges only after routing then 220. Nothing on surfaces. Check out my rv playlist for other ideas. This made the rv so nice. Also the big 12vdc fridge is my wife’s favorite. And the theater seats and porclen toilet.
Maybe google your local corian fabricators. See if you can buy the slabs cut to size if possible. Thanks and check out my playlists. Let me know how you make out.
You are quite the handy man! I am curious about your 12V Everchill upgrade.....did you use the 12V power from the absorption fridge to power the compressor on the Everchill? Or did you have to run new larger wiring and larger fuse? Looking forward to the next project.......maybe an induction hot water heater
Hey. The 12vdc to the old fridge was a 20A line and fuse on panel. The new fridge only uses about 5A when running. Less than 1A on standby. Plenty of power left over. Thanks
In my case absolutely. I have over 4000 miles on it. No issue. Also try pulling it up. But use the good ge stuff. Dont go cheap. Do it when warm. Thanks
The corian is easy to work with normal home tools like jig saw and router. Quartz is a man mad but uses stone chips. You need diamond blades to cut and finish water cooled. Corian is lighter also for rv Weight. Thanks
If it was me I would pull the gas line out and find the connection at the splitter and cap off their. Also I would replace the sink with a undermount SS too.
Yep. Did cap it off below. Just left the dead line in. Tried to do undermounts. No room to do it. My wife does kitchen remodels. Thanks for the watching
Yep. Only needed single. I have another single in the outdoor kitchen. We can bring it inside if needed and plug it in. FYI. We have never cooked inside. Use the big outdoor one all the time
This was an excellent “how to” video. Huge difference.

Boy, I need you to come do mine! Great job!
Very nice reno😊
GOOD VIDEO.
Nice job.
Where did you get the Corian?

Video had where I got it and how to shape it. Corian place cut it to my specs. Cooktop is 120v. Thanks!

Were the countertops only attached using the silicone?
Yes. Have 6000 miles on trailer now. No issues. That ge stuff is strong.
You can add a couple of corner blocks and screw it down with wood screws, if your so inclined

Go to my playlist under rv camping. I have a whole video on the everchill.
The silicone is enough to hold countertop? No need for screws?

Really appreciate what you've done and your narrative(s). Can you share more about why your like corian over quartz?

BUT isnt corian a lot heavier than the original countertop? adding weight to the RV?
A little more but the old particle board is very heavy. Plus absorbs water. Thanks
Can you put a bigger smooth cooktop in?
Yep. Only needed single. I have another single in the outdoor kitchen. We can bring it inside if needed and plug it in. FYI. We have never cooked inside. Use the big outdoor one all the time

Where can I buy a sheet of corian
From a local supplier. Or contact corian for a dealer
It’s a faucet
I do t use an air fryer or instapot
I use them everyday even at home, im with Jason on this one, their more convenient, give better results and can be easily stored away...
Hate the electric single burner
Yep. Didn’t have room for dual. If we need second just unplug it and bring it in or take it outside.
You left out the most important part how you took the counter top off
@@andrewjackson5127 ya. Undid the screws underneath and the came right off. Wasn’t bad. We love them! Thanks
