One of the best bands from the 70's! Paul Rogers is such a great vocalist. This was the first band to sign to Led Zeppelin's label Swan Song. Later on in the 80's Paul Rogers teamed up with Zeppelin's Jimmy Page and formed the band The Firm. Definitely check out that album, great performance by Rogers.

Bad Company is one of my all time favorite bands from my youth. This is from their first album in 1974. Almost 50 years ago but it still sounds great today! I gave you this one because it’s different than the other BC songs you’ve done before and shows their versatility. They were very much blues based and you can really hear it here. Paul Rodgers is their lead singer and is still active… check him out with Joe Bonamassa! Glad you liked this one! ❤️

In 1970, I remember his voice with his anthem "All Right Now", when he was the front man for Free. I saw him with Bad Company twice, and his voice is an instrument you never forget, and Bad Company is a band you always remember. Thanks for such a great review.

When I first heard this album, I was around 14, almost 40 plus years ago. Because of this album I never purchased any album unless EVERY song was great!! This album set that bar high!

Great band showing a different side of what you usually hear from them but Paul Rodgers is magnificent as always and the sax is a nice surprise. To see them really at their rocking best while performing, try their amazing takes on Ready For Love, any live video should do, no matter when and I've seen quite a few live and on video but for me, their amazing take at Hard Rock Live when they reformed about 15+ years ago has the best outro jam of any other version, it is well worth tracking down and a musical thrill and emotional windup. Definitely has a gospel feel to it every song of this album is great these guys should be in the rock Hall of Fame I didn’t check the messages but OK someone didn’t say it Paul Rogers the vocalist and Simon Kirke drummer were in another Grest band called free that had some great songs as well.
This band also had a great bass player Boz Burrell and guitarist Mick Ralphs
They probably have 15 to 20 8:24 songs that are as good or better depending on your mood on a particular day

If y’all like the “spiritual” sound of the one… Y’all must do “She Brings Me Love”. It’s one of Paul Rodgers best vocals and shows his big time range. When it slows down with the choir Paul goes nut vocally! Power a soulful!
