Thank you for the short history lesson on Arnold Machin’s work! I have already gone to the website you mentioned to download the machin guide. I really enjoy your videos. Have a wonderful year coming up.
Always loved machins in my collection, especially putting them all next to each other, in order...so colorful 😄 Arnold did an amazing job with that portrait
Finding out that Arnold Machin was the creator of the stamp with Queen Elizabeth on it, is amazing. There's always something new that I learn about stamps all the time.
Arnold Machin design on the stamps was and still is a beautiful creation, I have found a bunch of those stamps and I have them in an English tea tin with the Queen on the tin!
I thought there was something wrong with me. Rewatched the video three times, then finally watch to the end like I usually do. OH there it is where the bloopers usually are. I didn't know his name was Arnold. Thank you
Happy New Year! 🎉 What a wonderful way to start the year by learning about Arnold Machin and his timeless designs. His work truly revolutionized stamp design and remains iconic to this day. Thanks for sharing such an inspiring and well-crafted video! 😊
I certainly have some of Arnold Machin's designs in my collection, but because there's so many, im not sure i know where to start in organising them. Jennings has done a great job in creating a similar one for Charles.
Great video of Arnold Machin. Also if you listen closely when your quoting years you say 1967-1922 instead of 2022. I maybe wrong but I did listen to it twice. Keep them coming. 😊😊😊
I love these educational videos. I didn't know all that about the artist. I don't collect that recent, but your give aways are awesome! Someone is going to love that prize:) I'm going to check out Liverpool stamps now. I've never been to that sight. Thanks:)
Hi Rob! The machins are really iconic and beautifully minimalistic designed stamps. Various prompts now led me to have a whole heap of machins and soon I am going to start and tease out the varieties, and I can now call myself a Machin collector. So I would gladly participate in the draw, and I actually watched until you declared ARNOLD as the word to use. I learned a lot about ARNOLD Machin in your video that I didn't know about him. Thanks!!!! 2025! Are we really there?!
Thank you for this excellent video. I love learning about history and now know about the great Arnold Machin so thank you. Also, you never talk about nothing. You mentioned a negative comment in one of your videos. They’re informative and interesting. Don’t listen to the naysayers. :) Thank you.
Very tricky, I thought that you forgot about it. However, this is not a set I am interested in so maybe if someone else like Albert enters he can gave it. Happy New Year!
Arnold Machin there must be many varieties also used on regional stamps of uk ie wales.scottland and Northern Ireland to be honest not got many of English machins
