It is true that South America and Central America don't get a lot of show anywhere. And the early stamps, especially from Central America, are truly beautiful, intricate stamps. There's so much history in them and they don't get the sort of coverage that other countries do. Great collection as always.

Another nice collection. I vote to keep going with South America until the end, and then perhaps Japan, if your father collected them and they have not already been covered.

I also think there are not many videos featuring South and Central American stamps. So it was very interesting to see the stamps you showed. Thanks! Since you started with Central and South America, I think you should continue with the album. Take care!🙂

Thanks for sharing your Dad's "A - B" stamps for Central / South America / Caribbean .... I don't know why this is an area that many philatelists don't pay much attention to..... except that for the most part, many in USA know next to nothing about Latin & South America. The geography and history of this area of the world is rarely touched on in US schools. I had a couple of classes in college that covered some basics of the geography and history of this area of the world; but then again, I also collect stamps. Names like San Martin, Simon Bolivar, and Bernardo O'Higgins are unknown to many.... anyway.... looking forward to seeing more of your Dad's Central / South America / Caribbean stamps.

Maybe I should go slower with the countries and put a little history with them.

Nice video, Rob. Thank you for showing us.
03:55 The tree stamp on the left is overprinted (vertically down the right-hand side of the stamp). The tree stamp on the right is without overprint, so yes, they are different.
05:25 Yes, I have the mushroom stamps in mint condition. Thank you.
Yes, please keep going. The stamps of the Americas are always interesting.

Lately as a US citizen, I'm horrified by the placement of billionaires into powerful roles. I love stamps, but I do not have respect for the British Monarchy that devastated so much land and was the death and ruin of so many cultures. The more one learns about the history of the colonies, the sadder it is. Perhaps my feelings are heightened in "this time of giving" when I see so much unchecked greed. My wishes go to Canada in the new year and hope our "elected" evil buffoon and his billionaire puppeteer don't negatively impact your lives like he will ours.
