This Thrift Store was Killer! I scored at one of my favorite thrift stores in todays episode. We found some great games at a super cheap price and tons of nostalgic pieces from my childhood! Toys, comics, movies and more in today flea market adventure. Thank you guy as always for coming along with me in my live game and toy hunting journey!

at my thrift store this morning I went right to the games case at opening and there was absolutely nothing new, about twenty minutes later I noticed a cart full of books that hadn't been shelved yet and right on the bottom was a bin of games. not a single other person had noticed it. there were ten copies of wii sport resort ( weird but apparently one of the sorters wanted to see how many he could keep aside before being told to put them out) 1.99 each. two copies of super Mario bros wii, Mario galaxy 1 and 2 and smash melee. it wasn't a bad morning

I was born in '84, those McChangeables are the first happy meal toy I remember begging my parents to go get and I think I had the whole set
That baby gonzo was part of my "ruling class elite" when I was a kid. He hung out with Cobra Commander and Orko and the ywllow MASK guy with the green bike and they made all the important decisions for all the other toys. Imagine baby Gonzo being the one to decide if the Sectaurs and the Visionaries can have an alliance against the TMNT Threat!

Hey Rick, watching your videos from the UK and can't get enough of them! My favourite series is the 10 dollar game collection but love seeing any videos of you hunting etc. find it really interesting because we just don't have huge thrift stores like that over here. Keep up the good work man 👌

As nostalgic as your video game hunts are, adding toys to the mix like this is so enjoyable! I too LOVED the Changeables from McDonald's growing up. I am proud to say that I still have almost all of them too. McDonald's truly produced some incredible days back in the '80s. The Showbiz lunch box brought back memories too btw. I remember that commercial!!

Dude! I had that ALF book as a kid, that is crazy. I also had a relative that had that McDonalds flashlight too. I bet almost every home had one of those at one point lol. I remember those changeables in the happy meals, I know for sure I had the Hamburger one. I also had that Gonzo. Man this episode was a total nostalgic trip thank you!

That Alf book was pretty cool, I remember watching Alf as a kid and had a little plush Alf and loved everything Alf as a kid and still do now.

I had the same McDonald's toys growing up lol awsome. I found them at my parents house and they brought back memories! Now my son plays with them
McChangeables!!!!!!!! My god, even worked at Mcdons as a teenager, those were the best happy meal toys ever.
Big difference between Beanie Babies and Funko pops are that unlike beanies, Funko are based on established franchises and characters. Many people associate childhood and memories to these titles, many times those shows/movies don't have ANY memorabilia for them.
My dad said the same thing till I showed him his childhood HR Pufnstuff funko pop then it clicked. He hasn't seen toys or anything of HR till this moment then it made sense

Adore the McDonald's changeables. We've managed to find a few--not so much the dinosaur ones though.
That's kinda neat on the old yearbooks. We see these from time to time and consider grabbing certain ones. We definitely approve the X-Men VHS find--nice!

Alf was so popular, and I too sat and watched, but most small cities and counties only had antennas up until 90,91 and my childhood home was w/o cable til 95 , but A.L.F.( Artificial life form)
Love the 90s happy meal toys, I had all the happy meal toys from the 90s up til 3 years ago and I wish I would keep them now cause they was a big part of my childhood growing up

Really enjoy watching your videos, I'm a reseller myself so seeing what your looking for gives me knowledge on what I can also sell. Allot of these things your looking for, I sell right now though, I sell VHS, CD's, Cassette Tapes, videogames, clothing, sneakers, and of course vintage toys. My wife can't believe the things that sell, she swears it's a fluke, despite the fact that most of my items always sell.
Great video, I had that Gonzo growing up. He's a McDonald toy as well and does go with that green tricycle.
I like those mc changeables.. I found mcdonalds tonka 4x4 trucks the other day, I bought them all.. 5 in total. Also scored a vintage mousetrap game and box in nice condition. And few California raisins, and a couple vintage tmnt figs missing everything but they were couple bucks a piece and clean. ;)
Oh man... If you go back that Flea Market grab me that Moon Patrol Atari game. When I was a kid across the street from my apartment complex was our local convenience store here in Indiana and in the back by all the soda were 2 arcade games. Mario Brother and Moon Patrol. Now I played Mario whenever I could but I was a tiny kid and there would be a line 3-4 ppl long at any given time for Mario so, Moon Patrol was always good to go. And I fell in love with this game. I would so buy it from ya if it's still there!

Sleeping on that froger game, go's for 50 usd and didn't even look at takenoko. Great board game my wife just got it for $70 cad. Need to keep an eye out for board games. Great video. Looking forward to next one

damn that moment you found mario cart in the wii sport resorts box was like dejavou, my dad collects retro games and he got back home with a box with wii sport resort and he was like "hey, lok what i found at the near by thrift shop" and than he opend the box, and had mariocart inside he was so happy that day XD everyone always puts their games back in the wrong boxes hahah

Garfield stuff is often marked 1978, regardless of the production date on the item itself, the McDonald’s glass mugs are from the ‘80s for example. Those are almost always listed as ‘78 when I see them.
I collect pops and have over 900 but I agree with you, pops are the next beanie baby

The difference with pops is that they went after acquiring so many ips. People will always like superheroes, pop culture, and musicians. I agree with you that there’s too many and it’s hard to find value but the ones that are worth money have astronomical price points.

The first run of My Little Pony vinyl figures were at least three times the size of the ones you saw. They can go for ok money. Better than those little ones. I gave away so many of my old VHS. We had the X-Men series here. I have so many old toys in this house. I inherited so many and i have all the 80's and 90's stuff form the nephews. I put some online recently as the pvc vinyl figures made by Bully Germany are worth money.
Those McDonald’s toys are great! My favorites are the Halloween themed chicken nuggets that had costumes lol. Great finds man.
Fun Trivia; The founder of Atari Nolan Bushnell is the fellow that started Showbiz Pizza. He wanted to create a place where kids could play video games because arcades at the time could be sketchy.

That Gonzo is from the 80’s Muppet Babies McDonalds happy meal collection, I had Kermit, Fozzy, Gonzo, and Ms Piggy which my parents got from a flea market
When u find the old lunch boxes open them!! Because most have thermos inside seen alot when I'm out looking they put them inside

Dude! You put back a TRS-80 game? That is a pretty rare computer! I can’ t even find the game listed on pricecharting...i am very nostalgic for old floppies, being very young at that era. Playing video games on floppy with my older nephews and friends. They all owned a C64 or C128 (on cassette or floppies). What a time, waiting a minute to load a game. (Happens actually even on the PS4, not much though)

mcdonalds happy meal toys are a pretty cheap and easy thing for collectors to get into. I think you can buy tons of sealed toys for only 75cents-$2

Ok today I saw this listing on Facebook market place and it said "Brand New Collectors Ps2, box has been open to check contents, but the actual Ps2 is still in it's original plastic wrap." And I was like , Noooo! You don't know what you've done! I was was pretty mad about that.

Man U lucky, I found a Mario kart game for a dollar at my flea market, but had wii sports in it though. MY heart dropped, but still a win.

I’d do some research on those sports cards. Practically all cards are hot right now (except for junk wax) and this product is coming out soon to retail and it’s supposed to be good
