I think it's harsh to blame City for letting Palmer go. He knew he wasn't going to get regular gametime ahead of Foden and Silva. Instead of being in the bench another season, he asked Pep to let him go. Pep himself said he wasn't available for loan. He either stayed or was going to be sold. Good decision by Palmer.
Auba would have been lethal. If chelsea kept tuchel , let's be honest, are on their way down, a manager doesn't fix their problems the only reason they will survive this season and last season is because the bottom three clubs are awful. Chelsea will be facing a relegation next year. I wouldn't be surprised if they become the next everton.
Enzo is not better than Bissouma. You've not even got the number of games Bissouma has missed correct. Nevermind the fact that we won both games he got sent off in and the only games we've lost without Bissouma was Brighton away. I beg you take the bias away and watch football.
Genuinely dont believe we signed a better defender than any of Tomori, Guehi or Zouma. Midfield spent 260 on centre mids and Gallagher been our best player. 1bn spent and go into the season with Jackson and Broja. Its why Im not blaming Poch. We have an average squad with 4 senior pros (5 if you inc Disasi) and 2 of those are forever injured.

He's played more minutes in the PL than Nunez, Hojlund, Nketiah and Jesus. Also, only 2 goals ahead of Nunez and Nketiah after getting 3/7 goals against a 9-man team who handed it to Chelsea on a plate.
If you have a world class right back and you manage to sign a player to cover him that is as good as Gusto, that's a perfect signing. The point this fella is making is essentially Mo Salah wasn't a perfect signing because he's still not Messi.
Saying Enzo would get into the Spurs team is crazy, because whilst he maybe a better player than Bissouma, he’s absolutely not better than Bentancur, so he wouldn’t get in ahead of him if all our team is fit.
This is one of the most disingenuous, ill-informed videos they've put out in awhile. No stats, no legitimate reasonings. Just rating passports and vibes. Arguing Sterling perfect is just ridiculous, he's one of our worst players. These Chelsea "influencers" are just such a disease.

Love the way Villa are your bench mark for mediocrity. Supposedly the Spurs and Chelsea squads are better. Villa were second in the league the last time I checked....
Villa are 2nd in league , thanks to not suffering any major injuries to their main players. Spurs been playing fullbacks as CBs and even game vila won vs fact is Spurs B team ran them ragged most game. Once Cash injured 3rd PL player in 2 seasons, Bentancur that game changed

On Cole Palmer, I agree with Buvey. Take 40 mill for a player that's only in your cup team
If i had a dollar everytime Rory mentions Havertz, i would be millionaire by now. The guy lives rent free in Rory's head where brain is supposed to be
Well talking about football is his job and Havertz used to play for Chelsea and is still relevant and playing for Arsenal ..... so it's not weird to mention him in a 40 minute video or ever. Does Rory live rent free in YOUR head because you've apparently followed these thoughts of his?
@@jbo4547 Havertz wasn't relevant or necessary to bring up multiple times in a video discussing Chelsea's signings for 23/24.
@@em_si you gonna tell a grown man what he can and can't talk about/bring up on his own show? LOL weird
@@jbo4547 Rory doesn't read or respond to comments so no, I'm not "gonna tell" that grown man anything. I'm talking to you and others as is the purpose of the comments section. 👍
@@em_si lol right....
I wanted to watch this stream back but its not on the channel?
May be unpopular but I enjoy this content be good to do the same for other clubs but not necessary for owners but managers.
Ie Ranking emery signing so far etc
A lot of them needs to go out on loan to "learn" football again. Man i think enzo, caicedo would be brilliant elsewhere.
Stop complaining Reece James to Trent, it’s embarrassing at this point and there’s no comparison, Trent’s clear by an absolute mile.
James cant stay fit. When he can though he's a better RB than Trent. That's just a fact. He can attack and defend. Trent can do one of those things and is waul at the other.
Terrible takes. Terrible rankings. I agree with most of the people in the comments saying his Enzo slander is terrible. Sterling take is terrible as well.
Sterling is actually a bad signing, he’s been average at best. He’s had good games, but being one of the most experienced players you can’t expect to have good games against luton or low table teams
Buvey is spot on with the Batshuayi call. 🙌🏼
The wind-up merchant himself getting wound right up by these two. Quality content 😂
Bruh these lads opinions on enzo are actually mental. Questioning if he would start for palace is a disgrace when he’s with the right players he starts for any team
The delusion that reece james is better than TAA... the guy hasnt played more than 2years in total....
Is this other guy on the show just some random guy from the street? He literally doesnt have a clue about football and just guesses opinions. May as well get Harvey price on the show
Rory really needs to step out of the bubble. These ranking are absolutely bonkers.
Bissouma probably doesn't even get into Spurs best team next month now we have Bentancur back anyways.
Enzo is bettee than Hojbjerg and Skipp, well done Enzo would be 5th choice at Spurs. I beg you take the bias away and watch football.
How are they arguing origi and jackson 😂
Watched until Rory said Gallagher's better than Caicedo and Enzo put together and then had to switch off. What a horrible football opinion!
Why does Rory call every player and manager by their full name ?
Genuinely dont believe we signed a better defender than any of Tomori, Guehi or Zouma.
Midfield spent 260 on centre mids and Gallagher been our best player.
1bn spent and go into the season with Jackson and Broja.
Its why Im not blaming Poch. We have an average squad with 4 senior pros (5 if you inc Disasi) and 2 of those are forever injured.
I clicked on this video without seeing it's 40 minutes long :(
I mean the levels Trent has reached this season especially his midfield play is something Reece James could never reach.
reece james has also never reached the levels of trent last year when almost every goal liverpool conceded was his fault
Yes cause Reece James isn’t a midfielder, he’s a right back and he’s a lot better at being a right back than Trent is. Trent is a better player but he is not a better right back
@ArcticRob Liverpool don't really play with a rb anyway Konate does
@ninnapapiri8979 Reeces Pieces James has had a nightmare on the pitch this season just as much as off it. He gifted Newcastle and easy win. He's been at fault for alot more blunders than Trent
@@86Brasco maybe this year , last year trent was embarrassing
I think that’s a perfect signing *wink* 28:00 can play ‘out the back’.
Buvey doesn't even watch city play. Why is he even talking about football
I’m a Chelsea fan and really miss Roman Todd is American and knows nothing about football he was terribly advised but he is out of his depth. Roman had a passion and loved the club, Todd sees it as a business opportunity Way to make money,
Thing is cole wohkd only score these goals for chelsea, peps style doesnt let him express his abilities. Plus 40m is the best you can get for a player who hasnt provem himself.
Nicolas Jackson who was a WINGER! More goals than Nunez, Hojlund, and the entire Arsenal front line.
He's played more minutes in the PL than Nunez, Hojlund, Nketiah and Jesus. Also, only 2 goals ahead of Nunez and Nketiah after getting 3/7 goals against a 9-man team who handed it to Chelsea on a plate.
Miles makes Buvey sound insightful
Gusto is perfect because he’s backup for injured James, but Cucurella, who is backup for injured Chilwell, is "absolutely awful"…😂
Rory trying so hard to not accept that Bissouma/Sarr are better than Enzo. They've played less yes but have been much better in their games played
If you have a world class right back and you manage to sign a player to cover him that is as good as Gusto, that's a perfect signing. The point this fella is making is essentially Mo Salah wasn't a perfect signing because he's still not Messi.
Akanji is literally the definition of did the job.
Saying Jackson is not a natural finisher like Batsuai is probably because Jackson is a winger who's being played out of position
Bro it’s the club chill
Trying to sneak in a “Reece james is better than TAA” as if it was fact was sneaky by Rory. Glad he got called out.
Caicedo at 100mil is getting a pass, but pogba was dragged through the mud
The format should be simple... complete flops.. or flops that still have time to impress... there is no other category of player at chelsea
enzo isnt a 6 he doesnt have the physicality needed for that he is slow not agressive enough on defense he had the same problem at benfica but he is better mucch better than rice and gallagher at passing the ball english midfielders just offer legs pretty much all very good athletes no one is brilliant bellingham is better but he relies alot on his physical abilities
Crazy how Buvey has no concept of ‘a good player’ vs ‘a player playing well’
If Enzo wasnt argentinian he would be playing for bristol rovers rn
The Enzo Fernandez chat shows these lads have shocking ball knowledge
Love the way Villa are your bench mark for mediocrity. Supposedly the Spurs and Chelsea squads are better. Villa were second in the league the last time I checked....
Villa are 2nd in league , thanks to not suffering any major injuries to their main players. Spurs been playing fullbacks as CBs and even game vila won vs fact is Spurs B team ran them ragged most game. Once Cash injured 3rd PL player in 2 seasons, Bentancur that game changed
Rory’s constant not first choice on Palmer is so dumb. Who says he wasn’t first choice? A few random Twitter accounts said we wanted Smith Rowe? Other people have said that we were chasing Palmer through Shields for ages. Just follow’s Rory’s “everything associated with the new owners is bad” (whereas this at least could be a decent decision)
People talking about Enzo and how he was playing at his “position” and then start comparing him with other 6 like Douglas Luiz 🤦🏿♂️🤦🏿♂️ he is a 8
Thankfully you were joking about havertz I almost switched this off
Other than Jorginho what other Italian players have done well in the prem? I’ve hit a mind blank😂
Saying Enzo is a 6 is crazy. Textbook box to box 8 imo. Doesn’t fit in Chelsea’s system because he and Gallagher are both 8s and caicedo is Schrödinger’s midfielder nobody knows what the hell he’s good at. Enzo is the most naturally gifted player in that Chelsea side.
