How can Rory say Eriksen has been bad, the man is blind or doesnt watch football. He was vital to our season last year with some great assists and keeping control of games. He's fell off a bit this year
He's 32, slightly unfit, on massive wages and cost £60million and his performances have been 6/10 at best. No resale value, might sit out his contract on £300k a week for another 2/3 years. Man Utd, Liverpool, Bayern, Real Madrid - would any of these teams have signed him? not a chance. He's like what Jorginho is to Arsenal a decent older player for some games but Jorginho probably on 3x less money and cost 3x less.
@@celticbarry9877 on what basis have his performances been 6/10 at best? Have you even watched united on a regular basis? Do you really think that it’s a coincidence that united have won 4 consecutive league games since his return? Talk about getting booked often, this was always a part of his game, and we all know the referees in this country target him he literally gets booked for his first foul in the game United bought casemiro knowing that he’s 30 of course they would not expect a significant sell on value. We have nobody else in the squad who is a specialist defensive holding midfielder + his career achievements and standing in the game meant that he was always going to command a big fee & wages
How can Lisandro and Varane be one of the best defensive partnerships when they held 4 against brentford, 6 against city and 7 against Liverpool last season
Cos we're dealing with united fans who overate everybody ....they actually concede more goals when martinez plays than when he doesn't they don't talk about this also his very poor successful tackle rate
Rory said something that had me thinking, and I end up agreeing but for a different reason. Onana is a bigger mistake than Antony. Purely because Goalkeeper is three deep max. We had people who could play where Antony plays and we had about five or six of them. Effectively, we can get away with him being on the bench. With Onana, we replaced our long-standing number 1 for someone who is being dropped at international level. For someone who we have no idea how he will perform, what he will save or what he won't save. He's like an early, pre laser eye surgery De Gea, only he's more experienced than De Gea was. It's way more worrying. Antony stinks up the place but we can take him off. He at least puts in a shift defensively. Onana we can't drop in the same way because a number 1 being dropped is a bigger statement. And then we have to gamble on the number 2.
Rory talking about all the money United spent on Casemiro when Chelsea spent a quarter of a billion pound on a central midfield partnership that gets rings run round them by Wolves and the like.
Eriksen hasn´t been a mistake, cause ETH have used him wrong. Eriksen has NEVER been a holding midfielder, he´s a cam or left winger. So that´s ALL on one man only ETH!!!
Eriksen is goated man died playing football and came back to life just to go play football again……what a goat 🐐 so respect him and tbf he keeps our bench strong
I really don’t understand how Rory can go home every day after a podcast and think to himself “oh I did a great job today” he’s absolutely atrocious. Without martinez or Casemiro last season we would’ve finished 10th. Martinez came back after injury this season and we’ve never looked better. Casemiro won multiple player of the months at man united. Hojlund has just scored 7 in 7 absolutely flying in the league not to mention he was the top scorer in the champions league when United went out. The conviction in his face when he says these stuff makes me think he feels like he’s the smartest boy on earth. But then again this is the guy who said haaland would be a flop and Gallagher is a better player than Saka. I’ll give Rory one more year before he’s in the same category as agbonlahor.
Casemiro successful signing for me. We have looked awful this season whilest hes been injured and since his return have managed to put a run of wins together.
Chelsea is currently a laughing stock 😂😂😂 but I love the fact that their fans admit that they've spent the most money in 2 transfer windows (over 1 billion pounds ) unlike Man United fans who’d rather focus on the Glazers rather than admit that they've spent more than any team in the PL in the past 10 yrs but got kicked out of champions league by Copenhagen and Galatasaray 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣!!!!!
Took Rory 4 minutes to lose track of 4 players in this ranking because he has such tunnel vision hatred for United. Maybe he should take a look at the disastrous signings that is his own club his making instead of blaming everything on Pochettino.
9:28 is laughable. United didn’t have a bad season? humiliatingly losing 7-0 to your biggest rivals will be remembered for much longer than a Carabao cup and 3rd place in the prem. Not even mentioning failing to stop your city rivals winning the treble.
The thing I take from this video is that it is abundantly clear that Adam has finally had the fight knocked out of him. Famously (in my opinion) blind to the obvious flaws throughout the Man United team this last 5 or 6 years but he can finally see it and admit to it.
bias aside luke shaw was top 3 cb's in the league last season and he played it consistently for the first time in his career, defensively a very very good full back/cb,has a MAD cross on him, great passer, great technique, and does that darting run across the midfield sometimes where he bypasses 2-3 players with ease to start a attack...buvey and rory are out of their minds
Evans has been the biggest success out of all the signings, he was signed on a free as a fifth choice, and has played much more than would of been expected, that already puts him on does the job, the fact hes played well most of those games compared to his percecieved levels and expectations he's a great success, him and Garnacho are the only ones
Casemiro is everything that is missing at chelsea. A midfielder that leads by example and provides fight in the middle of the park. He is everything that Chelsea doesnt have... So why would I expect Rory to understand what he provides for the team ??? This is the same man that says Thiago Silva is a world class center back when hes god damn 40 and gets exposed on a game to game basis.
Don’t get me wrong I’m an Arsenal fan and I fuckin hate United but Rory is being so unfair smh. How are u gonna say holjund hasn’t scored enough in the ucl when he’s joint top scorer rn and isn’t even in the knockouts 😭
The logic that someone has to be in perfect signing is so stupid. If they are all bad then say they are all bad. If you artificially boost players just because they were not as bad as the others, it makes the whole list pointless. It is entirely possible for a team to have no perfect signings The best ability is availability. You can not call someone who has been out as much as Martinez a perfect signing. He is either does the job because he is good when he does actually play, or jury is out until we see how consistent these injuries are.
Rory on his own channel gives half decent United opinions. Buvey gives half retrospective United opinions but usually says they’re crap (fair half the time). The fact Rory made Buvey seem fair and intelligent in this video is shocking
Hojlund has the best shot conversion in the league, hes the youngest to score in 6 consecutive games, he scored the most goals in the champions league group stage, the kids just turned 21 and its his first season in the biggest league in the world what more do they want from him!?!? 😂
I have said this to SO many people. Didn’t he go to dortmund for like £18mill or something? If we’d done that, then we don’t spend a £6mill loan fee on Amrabat. Okay, that takes £12mill off the upfront fee for Mount (if we’d still gone in for him), so just offer Chelsea £45mill upfront (instead of the £55mill), and just chuck an extra couple of mill onto the add-ons
Anthony’s price is an accumulation of we’ve already done the enquiries. There’s already a email thread going , but we’ve also took your manager and cb. They didn’t need to sell and it was late on. We got punished price wise for all of the above
Let's see what I learned from Rory's transfer policy: 1. Don't sign world class, albeit aging players if they're expensive and fill the hole in the midfield. We need to focus on the bigger picture. 2. Don't sign young players if they're expensive, even if excellent fixes. We need results now, disregard point 1. 3. Don't sign loans to fill critical roles. We have more important things to spend the wages on, disregard points 1 and 2. 4. Don't spend on players who have injury problems, even if superb in their role. They could be a liability. 5. A player who is free is never worth it. 6. A player who costs 80 million is never worth it. 7. Also, 80 million for a player who's been hurt for 18 months is a steal.
Martinez is a perfect signing. Its nuts that Rory and Buvey are saying otherwise. Neither of his injuries are injury prone issues. Anyone can break a metatarsal and the MCL again would happen to anyone that had some oaf put his full bodyweight on their knee at that angle. I won't be surprised if between him coming back and the end of the season, we have one of the best defences in the league
What is this debate about Hojlund? He came at 20 years old, injured and with no pre-season. He took time to settle in the Premier League, even though he was scoring regularly in Europe, and factually nobody was creating any chances for him. He's outperforming Haaland in shots - goals and has scored 7 goals in his last 6 games. He's finding his rhythm now and he'll be banging them in for the rest of the season. He's doing a job just now, factually. Could be world class and a parfect signing in a couple of years
Coming from a United fan I look at it as if ten hag was at a rival club. If that was the case I'd want my rivals to keep him because I don't think he'll get it right.
Rory only makes sense when you realise at any moment he's just trying to find the thing to say which will get the most intention. There's otherwise no consistency
Casimiro perfect signing and Martinez perfect signings for united look at the state of midfield at before them Antony does the job just because he doesn’t appeal to the media he does the job for Eric defensively and keeping possession I can make 5 wingers in the last 20 years who have done worse
The fact Rory is making a living of this being so clueless is a perfect example that anything is possible

I normally like Rory, but his display here will prove to be a big mistake.
Normally like Rory? Seriously?
The amount of disrespect to Casemiro is absolutely disgusting
Ikr
Talk about getting booked often, this was always a part of his game, and we all know the referees in this country target him he literally gets booked for his first foul in the game
United bought casemiro knowing that he’s 30 of course they would not expect a significant sell on value. We have nobody else in the squad who is a specialist defensive holding midfielder + his career achievements and standing in the game meant that he was always going to command a big fee & wages
@@celticbarry9877I hate to say it mate, but he did actually sign for man united...
Rory at the start - let's not bring money into it... Rory the rest of the video - look at the price tag haha😂
You won’t get the engagement you are looking for
@@nevillechukumah1843 not looking for engagement you absolute troglodyte
Rory talking about all the money United spent on Casemiro when Chelsea spent a quarter of a billion pound on a central midfield partnership that gets rings run round them by Wolves and the like.
Eriksen hasn´t been a mistake, cause ETH have used him wrong. Eriksen has NEVER been a holding midfielder, he´s a cam or left winger. So that´s ALL on one man only ETH!!!
Eriksen is goated man died playing football and came back to life just to go play football again……what a goat 🐐 so respect him and tbf he keeps our bench strong
I can not wait for City to be in League Two and Buvey is going to have toalk about City's hard fought 1-1 draw with Tranmere
Rory changes his views on whether the transfer fee is a valid argument pretty much every video 😂
More like five times every video.
United, constrainted by FFP and then signing Mount and Onana was insane. It was obvious at the time. Even crazier now.
If the money matters if it’s too expensive, the money matters if it’s cheap as well
which is why money shouldn't matter... especially since we all know united overpay
Rory making a living on football opinions is like having Antony play football, what’s the point.
Buvey saying Mount doesn’t do the basics well speaks volumes on his knowledge of football, scary
Rory has no leg to stand on to talk about bad signings with what Chelsea have done the tool
Mckola's eyebrows never lie.
Rory is so unbearable I can’t believe it
ERIKSEN IN BIG MISTAKE ? Adam for you to allow this is even disgraceful for what he did for us last season
Its fun to see rory and buvey fish and when they dont get a nibble have an iq off
Casemiro successful signing for me.
Now lets do the chelsea signings please Rory
The cheek from Rory to call any of these besides Antony a Big mistake 🤣🤣🤣
Last season Eriksen, Casemiro and Bruno lost like 1 game together. Eriksen now is still better than every single Chelsea midfielder.
Eriksen was a rubbish signing? Rory didn’t watch him last season. Bad take.
Wait so why is Ten hag struggling and Ange is having an amazing season? There are only like three points between them?
Don’t get me wrong I’m an Arsenal fan and I fuckin hate United but Rory is being so unfair smh. How are u gonna say holjund hasn’t scored enough in the ucl when he’s joint top scorer rn and isn’t even in the knockouts 😭
The logic that someone has to be in perfect signing is so stupid. If they are all bad then say they are all bad. If you artificially boost players just because they were not as bad as the others, it makes the whole list pointless. It is entirely possible for a team to have no perfect signings
The best ability is availability. You can not call someone who has been out as much as Martinez a perfect signing. He is either does the job because he is good when he does actually play, or jury is out until we see how consistent these injuries are.
I love it how Rory knows about so much about different clubs situations, like 80%
Rory was insufferable for the entire length of this video
Rory on his own channel gives half decent United opinions. Buvey gives half retrospective United opinions but usually says they’re crap (fair half the time). The fact Rory made Buvey seem fair and intelligent in this video is shocking
Hojlund has the best shot conversion in the league, hes the youngest to score in 6 consecutive games, he scored the most goals in the champions league group stage, the kids just turned 21 and its his first season in the biggest league in the world what more do they want from him!?!? 😂
We should have kept Sabitzer from last season. Would have been more than serviceable this year
I have said this to SO many people.
Let's see what I learned from Rory's transfer policy:
Eriksen was very good last season and was getting a lot of praise. He had the second most assists in the league when he got his injury.
Casemiro was perfect last season but this season he's doing a job. We're as awful without him in the team as we are without Licha
Rory said at the start of this clip that we’re not talking about fees, and then brought eriksens wages and Casemiros transfer fee 🤦🏻♂️🤦🏻♂️😂😂
Onana was supposed to be United's Ederson but he ended up being their Claudio Bravo.
I think they are being harsh on Hojlund. He’s done well. Not many chances are created for him.
Purple shirt is just waffling
