Can you imagine the setup time required to dial that setup in? You need some serious production to warrant something like this.
On top of that I doubt there is any CAM system that support that center chuck
I am still trying to figure what's the point for the "chuck" in the middle. Yeah it can work as a bar puller and yeah it's very good for long thin shafts, but it seems like it would constantly be in the way of operations, and that it prevents taking advantage of larger diameter capabilites (as well as utilizing the max length or transfering to the normal second spindle) and it is not really a 4 spindle lathe either (to suppose having a bar feeder on each side/main spindle and run the same two second ops at the same time in the middle or what?)
PS: As far as programming ordering/timing simultaneous operations goes, I am pretty sure the controller does it automatically to an elementary degree. Still would take weeks to optimize a process fully though and in my experience programming a bolt hole pattern drilling in long hand (with CenterIntermediatePoint arcs for the linking moves and a 0.03mm path tolerance) to minimize the impact of accelerations and decelerations) I cut the operation time in less than half (including changing to the next tool with longhand moves instead of auto retracting etc) and it was even faster when using a countersink, as I was even able to start arcing the tool towards the next position before it even pulled back up over the surface (due to the top diameter of the countersink clearing the narrow tip enough, and I imagine it would also be possible with port tools, form tools, step drills, smaller drills etc)
The center sub spindle is probably a simple transfer Manual coordinated input. Sync mode.
It for cost effectiv mass industrial production..

To develop, test and debug a production processes for sure require competence and dedication, so time. Obviously, is has to be evaluated based on the production capacities whether this is the suitable system or if another one might be a better fit. Specific developed CAM environment can handle the TWIN SPINDLE (center chuck).

Jeez, I run an Okuma LT and have it pretty much figured out, this is like 4 times more complicated. Setup up and dialing in would be a nightmare on this thing.
This seems like a flex on what the controller is capable of processing, than anything really. This looks like a project that is meant for a handle of jobs tailored for this machine. General versatility seems out the window. Especially for batches of less than 1000 parts. Machine still looks pretty impressive though.

I can see this for automotive driveline parts and similar; setup would be an adventure but once it's dialed in surely you'd get better parts sooner for not having to turn the part around or hand it off.
Well, it's definately not a thing for single and low volume parts, only for mass production.
