    That chunk of material in the middle of the hole have the potential of jamming between the cutting tool and the part, the consequence being damage to the part and/or the tool.
    Next time, please turn it into chips (by adding another pass), it's merely gonna add five seconds of cycle time, and greatly reduce the risk of breaking something.
    Other than that, fantastic video, fantastic machine !

    For those wondering: Everying in this video except 1 clip is realtime and not sped up. Can you guess which single sequence is not at original (realtime) speed ? :)

    Impressive Marv! Higher MRR than I typically do on my HSK63 or 40 taper machines, especially when taking into account how fast the linking moves are.

    I would love to see the part of the code that generates the toolpath (i.e control of all axis ...) for this.
    It's not that hard in principle, but still

    0:23 Wie ist das mit der Maximalen zulässigen Schnittgeschwindigkeit gemeint? Die ist ja abhängig von dem Werkzeugdurchmesser

    • @MarvGro
      @MarvGro  3 года назад +1

      Die ISO zur Aufprallprüfung basiert auf einem Normgewicht, das mit einer Geschwindigkeit aufprallt. Hierbei wird angenommen, dass dieses Normgewicht auf die volle Schnittgeschwindigkeit beschleunigt wird, und dann gegen die Einhausung (in diesem Fall die Scheibe) prallt. Alle Werte unter dem Maximal zulässigen sind natürlich i.O., daher geben wir nur den maximalen Wert an.

      @@Сочнимжвячниthat's not part tolerance but rather toolpath tolerance, telling the machine how far from the programmed toolpath it is allowed to stray to maintain speed.
      With cycle 32 active, the machine may for example replace sharp turns (such as a 90° bend) with a fillet of the specified tolerance to prevent the machine from completely stopping when undertaking the turn.
