Channel is about mining and hardware that's profitable not a trading or blockchain channel. Also I mine and use my crypto all the time it's not about lambos for me it's sustainability so profits and efficiency is what I do.
@@locke3817 As someone who makes mining content, I can say, it’s real work! And as far as Rabid shutting down his rigs, I understand he’s doing it for very valid reasons. Its still a bear market. Its rough for everyone but main thing is we gotta keep making progress. As content creators its the same thing. Not all videos are our best, but I for one and thankful we have ppl like Rabid doing it for us. Its hard work & a real service during this bear market when profits are low all around.

As I just get rig 9/10 online… I feel like we’re in for another dip before things trend upwards, but I still want to get more bags and hardware in the interim. These insane ASICs are killing rewards for those without deep pockets. You said it though, it’ll be a whole cycle+ before we see another ETH.
it's a double edged sword mate, you produce lots of videos pumping cpu mining so it's pretty obvious people are going to start buying into it - maybe it's a lesson to be learned for the future.

I have extra solar to help with the cost during the day. Makes for a little better profit. I did take one rig and threw a 3080 in it to set up Spacemesh. Now I'm a smesher miner, lol. Its in genies phase and speculative at this point. 4 days to plot 896 GIB Proof of Time and Space file. Wait and see what happens at this point. So I'm going back to windows as soon as I can setup a temp monitor....I don't know what's up with hive lately but my 3900s reboot themselves every day or other day, and the past week I've been getting rejected shares which I've never seen before. I'm still running the few I have until I can get my hands on some jasminers. Sucks only having 120v or I'd have a few of their cheaper rigs already.
I shifted some stuff to Verus, while the KS0 eats away. Have a 4070TI on Ergo, another on Flux. Sitting back until the cooler months roll in then throw some more stuff at various coins for heat 😂
sorry to hear.... I guess I'm lucky. Using solar my electricity is about 8 cents summer and 3-4 cents winter. At 8 cent power right now my 5 ea. cpu rigs have been clearing about 10 cents a day. Its not much, but I believe enough in RTM and XMR to HODL that. I have 14 GPU's clearing between 5 and 12 cents a day after power depending on the gpu. Radiant and Dynex of late. ALL RTX 3000 series. I'm lucky everything got paid for when ETH was profitable except the last two CPU rigs... and I built them with POUW in mind so they can be transitioned if needed.I have a real job so I'm OK.
Rabid i have been using panasonic pgs graphite sheets instead of thermal paste. Works good on my machines where i have a screw down fan. Doesn't seem to work well with amd prism clamp down type fans. Going to try cutting this in halfEYG-R0715ZRSD

Too bad to see it, the RTM reward is going up. In Argentina it is still profitable, 1/3 of what was earned would be electricity costs in the case of RTM. I have GPU and CPU mining, not much, about 11 KH in total, something like 800/1000 RTM per day

It's sort of sad or tragicomic, that now miners are hurting from cpu mining going unprofitable also, while same time many miners including you are sort of advertising cpu mining through youtube channels :-) If there is a good catch available somewhere, I guess people should just keep the secret to not let everybody rush in? These issues are kind of contradictory.
the reason we watch him is transparency where many channels dont always share what they are mining. That said I hope youtube videos payouts are offsetting his loss. If it wasnt for Rabid I wouldnt have gotten into CPU mining.

RM wow I know profits for CPU mining was dropping but did not know it was this bad, still CPU mining will bounce back quicker than GPUs but yeah that’s why you got to have any mining tools and miners are just that a tool, so people that only cares about phone, cpu and or GPU mining only I am sorry for them! So yeah real miners has everything including ASIC and FPGA’s, and if you got the right ASIC you will always be profitable if you got good electric rates.
I'll continue with Kaspa, raptorium + nodes and some others despite profit drops, stack now & sell later and maybe do better. ETC volume is interesting again, it seems to roll between $15 to $40 but if price drops to $10 its going down. Post Merge we are still looking for that golden crypto to replace ETH. Kaspa is most likely being manipulated by friends of Bitmain or maybe it's a mirage so like that Risky Business movie I'm gonna say "What the Fock".

I still mine on solar and leave my rigs to run until my battery banks drained to 63% which allows them to run approx 22 hours a day. I have a few antminer l3's running on excess solar during the day. Still making about 10usd pd mining crypto lol
Yeah I just expanded my solar and battery banks. Having cheaper power infrastructure for the future is key. Upfront costs sucks but pay it off and a year from now you will forget what you paid but you'll have that free energy for 15 years. And no one can control what the power companies will charge everyone is at their mercy
@@tomcarey3457 sadly in my country we are facing electricity shortage so pur power goes down 2-3x per day for 2 hours at a time. This forced many including myself to seek alternative energy solutions.
I oversized our system sadly.... So much electricity's going to waste atm. Atleast I can run some asics miners to consume excess solar.

So if there is no more new money around 4u, maybe you should sell all your cpu equipment 22+ rigs and go buy some Epyc 3 dual motherboard Epyc 7742 hashrate, which is almost enough for your whole 22 cpu rig.

I think investors are great. But what made eth go up was also the fact that people needed it for the things they were doing. So it had a real demand. If a coin gets a demand then the investor will come. It’s like RTM. They need to work on getting people using the coin so that puts a demand on the coin. Demand is the first step. Without demand and people using the coin then it’s dead.
CPU mining is ULTRA PROFITABLE . All you need is a solar system with a few batteries and you mine with PURE PROFIT...There is always another way to get the GOAL - THINK BIG....

I always hear the same thing; 'This isn't profitable unless electricity is free'. Well, nothing is FREE - BUT, continuously increasing the size of your (our, their, anyone's) Solar Power arrays IS a solution to comments like this! We ourselves are slowly but steadily working toward the 30Kw of panels level since starting this process in late 2018, and know WITH CERTAINTY that anyone with the desire and drive to do so could accomplish the same. Further; we have 50Kwh of lithium battery bank tied to 14,400 Watts inverted output capacity (at 80% contiguous load in both single 120v and two phase 240v) which we built ourselves for a hair over $14k. Amortized over the past 5 years we spent just under 6k a year for this. How much mining do you think YOU could do with that? And finally, what do you think is holding you, or others, back from doing something similar?
