All you have to do is let off the throttle and tap your brakes fir a split second. That jeep trying to merge didn't design that freeway entrance. He just has to use it. The Cammer should understand this since he/she/they have to use these same crappy freeway entrances themselves at times.
Arizona has some of the worse drivers!!! Literally they never move over or slow down. The roads and freeways were designed horribly. I just always hated driving in that state.
In before the "JEEP SHOULD HAVE SLOWED DOWN" comment, despite the fact that the jeep actually had the positioning and the cammer could have just tapped his brakes ever so slightly, instead both of them got stuck slowing down from 65 to under 50.
This was my first thought as well. However, legally it's the Jeep's responsibility to merge safely, as others have pointed out. Yes, the cammer could have tapped the brakes to give the Jeep space to merge. That would have been the prudent and polite thing to do, but not legally required. However, the Jeep also could have (and legally speaking, should have) accelerated a little faster to create the space needed or slowed down to merge behind.
Yeah I almost ran a red light like this a few years ago. The sun was setting behind me and shining on the traffic light, I couldn't tell that the light had turned red. I stopped in time but I was definitely more alert after that
Yep, that is exactly what happened. I am so disappointed with some people. We all make mistakes, but the ones that never admit to them have issues and it always bites them in the backside.
I encounter car owners often that brake or even stop on a highway to let in a merger. This bad behavior is responsible for many Braking Waves, and it encourages mergers to ignore the rules of right-of-way and have an expectation that everybody on the highway will brake or disappear so that they can merge without accelerating to the speed of traffic or waiting for a better opening in the traffic. Many of these violators also, having failed to yield to a driver who refused to brake or swerve, suddenly have no problem accelerating to 90 MPH so that they can get in front of the driver who had the right-of-way.
U say that but do you match speed going up ramps? Cause I see 99% of people actually are under speed limit merging in. Sports car or whatever. Everyone. So until then you need make room for idiots on road. Including yourself.
Agreed. But if you've never encountered a roundabout before and don't know how they're supposed to work, then falling back to a strategy of slowing down or stopping when you're not sure, is usually safer than going or speeding up when you're not sure. (Exception would be freeway mergers, where matching speed with traffic you're merging into is safer than coming to a stop.) Overall I'm pretty impressed with today's video. Multiple clips with drivers being polite or failing safely, rather than failing dangerously.

1:04 I'd put the blame on whomever designed that freeway merger. 4 lanes to 2 in that short a distance is not reasonable. I wouldn't even blame the cammer for not slowing down. The #4 lane doesn't merge into it, the #3 lane just gets smaller and smaller until it disappears? Did someone think the skinny bus scene in Harry Potter was real?

It’s a shame when the driver is at fault by almost hitting your car, cuts you off, hit and run, or just sits at the green light not paying attention, you honk your horn and they flip you off, not taking accountability of their mistake. Some people who get honked at, take to the extreme and start road rage to the point of trying to fight you, push you off the road or even end your life, over something so minor. Some adults act like total immature brats on the road, but tell their own kids to respect others, and that same adult does the opposite towards other adults. The people at fault on the road, flips off the other driver and that driver could come after you in anger. One of you could end up in jail for a few days or the rest of your life. It’s not worth it. If someone flips you off, let them go, karma will find them.
I have found it's much more polite to toot-toot than it is to beeep when someone doesn't go. It's a shame cars put horn buttons behind airbags these days making it hard to toot only briefly.

#5... I always assume there is a car or motorcycle hidden by an approaching car. It prevents this kind of accident.
#9... While the red light runner is at fault, racing into an intersection where the light just changed is asking for trouble.
#13... The driving is terrible. The hit and run is worse.
4:39 Yeah, the other driver is driving recklessly, but contrary to the cammer's comment, you can barely see the truck signaling in spots and it only just cuts off as he enters the cammer's lane. Not trying to vindicate the other driver, who is very much still driving recklessly, but he DID as least have something flashing back there. Probably needs to replace the turn signal bulbs, clean the tail lights, or it's just a factor of the time of day (the sun is coming from behind the vehicles).
Yeah I did not see the flashing light till I had downloaded the clip and reviewed it a few times.
2:26 Finally! A cammer with the right name!
4:02 the caption should be on a commercial
#14 4:30 - The pick-up did have his signal on but that's not how you change lanes
Yeah saw the blinker after I submitted the clip and reviewed it a few times.
"police didn't site him"
5:57 some of these cammers are way too nice to people like that
#4 That is a poorly designed merge.
Right!? It's really a double merge as the merge lane goes into another lane that immediately ends, forcing you to merge a second time. Not surprised the jeep got confused.
@@teejaybee8222 Exactly - never seen markings like that.
I wonder if there was any signage warning the of ending lanes.
@@gregall2178 No, there's not.
I only counted 5 deer
8:22 The last clip...they HAD to be running from the cops. Of course, I can't confirm or deny that because I have never seen that before (eyes looking side to side).
Is it just me or can everyone see and understand what they are watching in the video without someone needing to explain what you are looking at? Asking for a friend.
3:11 It's not worth it. Toyota Tacoma and 4Runner drivers usually have some sort of road rage issue and suck in general. Avoid them when necessary.
1:15 "Fails to merge" .... oh my, I wonder why ?
1:36 That's true and I don't undrstand how people can't see traffic backed up at intersections. Kinda' explains the results !
3:39 "Sketchy intersection" ? Where do you get off with simplistic comments ?
1:35 and 3:38 HEADPHONE WARNING Bro you need to actually watch your clips before you edit them together, those sounds are aweful.
Just witnessed the worst road rage incident ever. People need to calm down and drive safely!
The mindset of "driving is a right" has taken over. It is not a right. It is a privilege. It needs to be seen as such. Too many drivers out there who can't pass a skills test to save their lives.
several LOUD hear damage inducing points in the video = downvote
I watch a lot of these crash videos on RUclips but I don’t think that I would like most of the people that have dashcams. Most of them act as though they hardly ever make mistakes driving. They get annoyed at something as simple as slowing down to let someone merge onto the highway.
#5 cannot stand these stupid drivers that blindly turn out and cause collisions. If you see someone turning and you can't see if the other lane is clear, DON'T PULL OUT.
1: 05 - "I have a camera, I'm in the right" You could have been a gentleman and let up even in the slightest and avoided that entire situation. Cripes. Defensive driving score of ZERO.
7:13 Looks like a cop doing a U-turn because a few seconds beforehand, you see a car without its lights on. Stripes on the far give off cop-vibes 🤷🏼♀️
Thought you stopped using the "talking head" woman to do your clip text overlays. At least it's minimized at the top of each frame - was incredibly annoying when it was featured larger.
285k subscribers and they don't edit out the audio clipping... captions are out of order on half of these videos.. I know its a free to watch clip show but geez have some pride...
14. Red Truck from right drive as if he wear blinder and only can look straight. Another classic is not keeping distance, and not keeping speedlimit, it all ad up to give accidents
5: Two stupid drivers , both can see the blind spot but act as if they are not aware of it's presence but don't act accordingly to if there are in- or outcoming they should go easy on to avoid accident. In all these videoes no one seem to learn anything, repeaters show the same stupid accident they do, - as it¨s just part of life.
If you north americans ever visit Europe, than please don't rent a car, but just use public transportation🙏🙏🙏.
Why a lot of people do not even slow down a little if there is something going to bump into them? I just don't get it... just as if people WANT to have a crash!🤷♂️
Greatings from germany
Can you please translate this video title in German language?
@@MegaDrivingSchool I would translate it in :
"Zusammenstellung nordamerikanischer Fahrmissgeschicke in Autos"
But word for word it would be more like :
"Nordamerikanische Autofahrmissgeschicke Zusammenstellung"
... but that just sounds wrong.
Just a question :
What is going on at your intersections when it comes to turning left?
I have watched some of your videos and I just don't get it... are there no seperated traffic lights for those in the left lane turning left?
There are so many clips with collisions with cars coming from the opposite side of the crossing going straight crashing into cars that turn left.
Is there no traffic light system installed for that situation?
@@pt3800 Yes and no. Some have dedicated left turn lights which go green in different sequences depending on the intersection. Some go left turn in opposing directions together, some go straight and left in the same direction together. Others are "yield on green" without a dedicated turn signal.
@@spamlessaccount thx for answering.
You should have more traffic lights. That turn left on own judgement does not seems to work that well.
... or more round abouts... on second thought in Milwaukee it seems not to work eighter😅
#18 I will never understand why people tailgate others that cannot move faster than the vehicles in front of them. They are NOT the ones holding up the lane.. You can clearly see there is traffic ahead..
1:35 WARNING! Earphones combined with this video are capable of war crimes.
People need to stop getting mad all because some one honked at them. that is there for communication when driving, Like letting you know your light is green, or you are drifting into my lane. Why do people get so mad at a simple honk?
2:27 Have you ever seen that many deer together? Lol obviously you have never seen deer in the wild. Herds can reach many times that. I've seen 35+ in field and that's normal. Lady needs to get out and see animals in the wild not just a zoo.
1. The classic one. Can't make up his mind - go, no go, go, no go. Decide and make i swift - no stall half way
#7 Mini van gets t-boned right in front of him.
Him: nah, no need to stop, I'll just continue on my way.
MDS, please remove these insanely loud, high pitched sounds before uploading!!
1:38 wtf was that ? dont you check your video before export to cut things like this out ?
That stupid 17 y old shouldt have been let go freely. Let him Pay and maybe just maybe he stops running after he hits something.
What's with these earrape sound tho
It was a editing mistake

1:38 just what I wanted to hear! The dollar store transformers music 😂
1:37 best part! must watch!
2:19 I’ve had two encounters with deer’s 🤕 deer vs Mitsubishi Eclipse then deer vs Ford Expedition 🤕 deer won both times 🥇🏆
0:45-0:59 lol 😆 they didn't almost miss their turn 😅 they just panicked and turned to not hit the car because they ran the red light 🤣
1:30 Reason why I hate left turns!!
n°20 No just "a van", it's police car and he make u turn for car without lights
4:55 That huge transport was just too small to see, not only in his bli d spot, but right beside him too.😂
4:00 That's a KIA, the best cars in the world. People are now willing to sell their Mercedes or Tesla to buy one of these.
6:10 is the cammer listening to Portal 2 soundtrack 🤔
2:15 - A paved highway covered in dirt like that, flooding at some point or what on earth caused that?
6:03 "17 yr old kid not sited because of his age?" if he shot someone would they have let him go for that 2? what the f?
4:40 People cut each other off all the time! Yeah its annoying, but we can't prevent it..
Video #7 2:00 Boines - Lucky for you there was no oncoming traffic as you had to swerve into the oncoming lanes to avoid being part of that collision. You were not able to stop safely in time because you were following too closely. Your following distance was only about 1 second. Next time leave 2 to 4 seconds between you and the vehicle in front and when things go wrong you can stop in time without having to swerve into the oncoming lanes. ILR Car Control School
6:20 a moment of silence, please, for that god-awful olive green Firebird
