Nice video! FYI if after you've pressed you pull up a tiny bit on the plunger, then you can remove the Aeropress from the cup without it spilling. Saw that in a James Hoffmann video and he is the OG.
It seems better than I thought. Nice improvements over the original Go, except weight might be an issue for hiking. I guess I need a 4th AeroPress lol🤯 thanks for the excellent review.
Join the multi-Aeropress club 😂 I didn’t even think about the weight for hiking. It’s not crazy heavy but it definitely weighs my bag down a little, prob comparable to a hydroflask or other metal water bottle. If you hike with it, come back and let me know if the weight is an issue, now I’m curious!
@@simweimin3422 I haven’t had either grinder so I’m not sure how big they are, but I doubt any grinder could fit unfortunately. It would be really cool if they could figure out how to make space for a grinder without making the whole thing huge lol
could you share the diameter of the tumbler lid? i heard that it is non leak proof which is a huge bummer. wouldn’t want my coffee to spill on my way to work
Thank you!! I haven’t found a hand grinder that small yet (and am so open to suggestions if anyone reading this has anything in mind)! I use a Commandante c40 and pre-grind my beans before I leave the house in the morning when I take the whole setup to work. I put the grounds in a little jar.

excellent review! also had no idea you could brew upside down, so smart!
Thanks so much!! 😊
I'm new to AP, & the Go plus will be my first one. Looking forward to using it & traveling with it. Your review was very informative.
@@planelvr07 thank you! :-) let me know how you like it when you get it!

I will! Every ounce counts when going up those hills 🥵
Excellent review. Liked and subscribed.
Thank you so much! 😊
So the Go + is basically the base model on a mug, and not a smaller version like the original? Seems nicer for more serious brewing/inverted
@@xenodrake4008 yes! It’s been great for inverted
Great review, didn't know they had a new one
Thanks!!
The magnetic lid disappointed me as I like to bring my coffee to places, but it's nice to just have all aeropress stuff fit neatly into one unit
It looks like you are using a large grind size for aeropress. Is that a function of this particular bean or roast?
I use a large grind size for any bean on Aeropress- I like a little less extraction for a brighter flavor profile.
Possible to put any hand grinder in there? Like a 1Zpresso Q2 or the timore nano?

popped up on my recommended list, really nice review

Nice, easy to watch review. What about a grinder which can typically fit into a normal aeropress - you don't carry that around?

That color combo matches your outfit
Nice review, but I was hoping that you’d share your exact recipes while brewing the delicious coffee!
Recipes are posted at the very end of the video! :)
Will the press fit/can be used with just a normal mug as well?
@@LucasPassmore yes but the rim on this aeropress is smaller, so it can’t be a very big mug. It fits most of the ones I have.
@@HappyHomeBarista thank u!
Now the next they should do, is split the tumbler in half, so we get two halfs; as coffee cups, or two halfs; a cup and a carafe.
@@krimke881 ooooh that would be awesome.
Can’t seem to find where to buy this one in the uk
Oh no!! I got mine off of their website. Hopefully they make it available everywhere soon, that’s so weird.
Coming to UK in August
What kettle is that in the background?
Hario Buono with temperature control :-)
Ordering one of these bad bois for the road now
You should make on the road reviews of travel coffee products 👀
@@HappyHomeBarista that’s a solid idea!
Funny.... I own the Original and Go....but I just ordered the Go + last night !!!!!😁
P.S.....they have a Fathers Day sale 20% of
I think you’ll love the go+! I never had the original but it seems like the + is way nicer quality.
OMG hideous loud music.
This video almost made it a whole week and a half without any rude or petty comments 😪 tragic
