- To be honest, I didn't really like the in-game design for Scorbunny
s final evolution, Cinderace. So I decided to put my money where my mouth is an try my hand at designing the type of evolution I would have wanted.

Not bad. Not bad at all. I'll be honest, I am not the biggest fan of the new starter line. Something about it seems... Generic for the lack of a better term, perhaps uniform in their general shape, whereas the prior evolution were more varied in their appearance. Seems to be leaning towards a shift in design/aesthetic philosophy that started around Gen 6, finalized in Gen 7, and was further refined into something else in Gen 8, possibly made more prominent due to the new head designer for Pokemon after the previous guy retired. Strangely enough, I found the final evos to not be too offensive to my own sensibilities, even going so far as to say that they are on to something. But there was something missing about them, and I think you've managed to get closer than most with regards to redesigns in making an appealing final evo design for one of the starters, something that seems to mesh the sensibilities of the first few gens with that of the newer ones better than most. It reminds me of a fighting bunny from games like Overgrowth as seen here.
Hmm...I’d like to see a redesign of Charizard. Or even Rayquaza. That would be cool. :)
