- These new Pokemon characters, Briar, Perrin, Drayton, Crispin look kinda familiar. For example, Perrin looks like Adaman from Pokémon Legends Arceus, Drayton like Drayden from Pokémon Black 2 etc.

It's revealed in the DLC that Drayton's grandfather is actually Drayden, and not only that, but that Drayden and Hassel know each other and regularly contact each other
Drayton being Drayden's grandson I can believe but at the same time, I had Hassel talked to Drayton and he actually refers to Hassel directly as "grandpa" (I even have the screenshot to prove this)

Crispin's description states he is from Virbank so it's unlikely he's related to Chilli, Cilan or Cress
Briar's visual relation to Brambleghast is a pun on their names as both briar and bramble are used to refer to thorny wooded plants
He could be their cousin, they don't have to live in the same town.
Lacey is Clay's daughter, but she's from Nimbasa City. Their home cities don't necessarily mean much ^^

But regardless Lacey and Drayton are so obviously related to Clay and Drayden respectively so then why make Crispin so vague in comparison? The only connection is red hair and cooking, compare that to Lacey who has gems on her hair clips like the gem on Clay's hat, uses an Excadrill as her ace and is outright stated to have a gym leader parent and with Drayton his name is similar and he's directly stated to be Drayden's grandson
Crispin does look kinda like Alder and Benga to me, and Alder does spend some time in that area during part of B2W2. Maybe Benga has a sibling, cousin, heck, maybe enough time has passed that Benga is a dad now!

If you look closely you can see that Perrin actually might be Irida’s descendant too. Hairstyle, hair color, skin tone, body type, clothing details like shoes and bracelet, and she has 2 Hisui growlithe. Not a coincidence.

I have a theory as to why Drayden, Drayton and Iris are all named after, well, Irises in Japanese.
In Hanafuda (japanese playing cards), the iris suite represents May, the FIFTH month of the year.
In the Chinese zodiac, the FIFTH animal is the dragon.
And what's more? Drayden, Iris, and Drayton are all from Unova-a region introduced in the FIFTH generation of pokémon.
Coincidences? I think not.

The only one we don't really know for sure is Crispin. He's a cook like the Striaton Trio, but it's stated that he's from Virbank, not Striaton. So it could be that he's just a random cook guy from Virbank

Or it means there's going to be a character in an upcoming game that bears more resemblance to him

As when penny is getting her father permission, she comments on how nobody says Adventure as “Adven-Tour” I have a Theory that Crispín will be related to a new character when the Unovan remakes come out. Maybe the son of a Grown chilli, as the Trio Brothers at the end of B/W they split up, to achieve greater heights (To become stronger) as individuals. Imagine in The B/W remakes we revisit Lacey and the others as grown adults and taking the places of the original Gym Leaders. Of course, the Goat Clay, is probably retiring soon anyways as he’s both Old and Has to handle the Mining Buisness. Also how does Draydon Eat.

I don’t think Crispin resembles any other character in particular besides the fact that he’s obviously a fire type user, something there’s no short supply of in Pokémon.
It makes more sense now that the game revealed blueberry academy is in Unova.
I remember saying in a comment probably here or somewhere else. It is most likely that blueberry is in between Paldea and Unova. Basically in real world terms, North Atlantic ocean. As in the first trailer where blueberry is shown if I'm not wrong there were some frames where Kalos map is shown.

When we enter the Indigo Disk, we learn that she is the daughter of a Unova gym leader, but then on the first fight she uses Plusle, Minun and Excadrill. Is she Clay's or Elesa's daughter? I know when you fight her as an elite four she uses only Excadrill, but it still keeps me puzzled, because she dosen't look a thing alike Clay
