Geez, did you listen to SCOTUS today??? Talk about enablers!! Although they seem to be more concerned about what precedent they’re setting more than what’s going on right now, clearly. I’m ashamed of the judicial branch. Sure seem like there is definitely a schism among the conservatives. But even the liberals seemed to not be on the same page. I’ve read and watched countless legal scholars and I don’t see how anyone can question that he has immunity with ANY of the bullshit that happened from Election Day to Inauguration Day (and continued even after he scurried down to Florida with dozens of boxes of top secret documents). UGH!!

I have been reminded by her actions (and inactions) of a stalker I had to navigate several years ago.
The stalker would call me at home (I have no idea how he got my phone number), or at work, and tell me about my day, what I had done, where I was, etc. He once spoke to my 7-year-old daughter, asking her personal questions about me. He also once drove halfway down my driveway, but not close enough that I could see him or read his license plate.
It was beyond frightening. I filed a report with the police each time. As the police were just about to get the FBI involved, the stalker would stop. Every time. For months. He knew just how far to push without getting further authorities involved.
Cannon is like this. She’s like a creepy stalker pushing the limits of her authority and her position, pushing the limits of the law, and intentionally manipulating and maneuvering to avoid getting caught.
Crazy stuff.

Unfortunately, Trump is using the rule of law, i.e., the pillars of democracy to ride his way into an American dictatorship.
Cannon is doing everything she can to delay and to help Trump - without risking reversal by the 11th Circuit, which is the only constraint she sees. Before celebrating any favorable outcomes of these hearings, realize that the delays themselves are the point, and are victories for Trump.
Trying to hold the case to protect djt. That is why she is refusing to use her clerks and colleagues for help. The chief judge knew she was biased and was trying to give her an out so she could keep her job. She needs to be bounced and locked up for obstruction of justice.

Southern District of Florida's Chief Judge needs to be investigated. Allowing Cannon to take her patron Trump's case is an unthinkable violation of judicial ethics and federal law (see 28 USC 144).

I agree, makes (chief circuit judge) Bill Pryor's conservative 11th Circuit look pretty lame.
The appellate court can't intervene _sua sponte_ , they need to have a motion brought before them. So far, Cannon hasn't made any orders that can be appealed.
The 11th circuit is no such thing. There are procedures and precedent and they exist for very good reason. Following them even when there are clown like Cannon on the bench is the ONLY way to maintain order.
This is not a stain on the 11th circuit. A motion has to be filed for them to intervene. Cannon has stayed (sneakily) just barely above the legal line for Jack Smith to appeal. They are watching believe me and Cannon knows she would be booted from the case and admonished harshly by the 11th circuit.
It’s time to get rid of Cannon; she doesn’t know what she is doing, except following Trump’s playbook.

Judge Cannon's obstruction of timely and objective progression of Trump's Florida trial still doesn't only deny the public's right to informed voting, but also U.S. allies' need to know if we can be trusted with confidential intelligence information we need them to share with us going forward (thus Cannon is herself endangering our National Security by leaving this unresolved!). 🗺️

You can largely blame Mitch McConnell for that, getting control of the pipeline of new judges was his brain child.

This is Cannon’s way of slow walking the entire case. She puts forth the appearance of doing the right thing, but what she is doing is really delaying the process that should be taking place. How days of delay did this situation cause - because delay is his main tactic - 4000 lawsuits - he only won 450 - he just drags things out - even if he loses - delay is his friend - so is Cannon -

Yup taxpayers paid One Million dollars for her to build a SCIF inside her little courthouse. The Grand jury that brought this case were a Miami Grand Jury. This case should be held in Miami.

He made a huge mistake to place the case in the control of the Southern District of Florida area where Cannon works. There were four possible judges who could have been randomly selected. She was the one randomly selected. And we've seen the result. It's one of the few mistakes that Jack Smith has made, but it was a gigantic mistake.
