She has no grounds to question the funding because it has absolutely nothing to do with adjudicating this case. She is just pissing away the time for Trump.

AG Garland has the power to move Cannon and the district court forward immediately. So Smith can end this Cannon drama all so obvious she wants to help 45 end case. ENOUGH of this S..t! I want to see justice actually work.

The wild thing in all these cases is that none of them are actually being tried (or trying to be tried) on the content of the charges. It's ONLY about tfg trying desperately to railroad the system since he basically has no defense(s). NY was a perfect example. So if the judicial system/judges/justices are not up to the task of this barrage against the system itself, we are all threatened.
Smith should call her bluff and not even argue the point - *_Let Her Rule Against Special Prosecutors_* ...then talk with the 11th.
Smith has enough evidence of Cannon's bias right now to have her removed.

SHE is the separation of powers issue!! She is litigating lawful legislative expenditures supporting a lawful executive branch issue against a DOJ prosecution. After listening to a few of these about Judge Cannon it's obvious she's hoping Trump is elected so he'll appoint her as a Supreme Court Justice. That's what all this is about, showing her loyalty to him because he's picks loyalty over competency.

She is looking for a way to dismiss the case. She has made a mockery of the justice system and needs to go,Justice delayed is Justice denied.
She is NOT looking for a way to dismiss the case. As long as she has a case in her court she can run interference to the other cases. Did you not see that she stopped making trial start dates (because there was a trial start date that interfered with other cases going to trial) when the other cases were either set for a start date or are waiting on a ruling from the supreme court?
The HOUR one of those other cases are ready to proceed she will set a start date just enough to force the other courts to push back a start date.
That is why NONE of her hearings have appeals moved to the higher courts, and why even though she has not ruled to through out the case tRump lawyers have not pushed for a supreme court to step in.
She is a known shield for tRump. They just need it there for a few more months until his confederates take ballot counting locations at gun point (they will claim they have a badge and a right to do it).

Never mind SC Smith, the 11th circuit needs to step in and stop this circus. Cannon is making a mockery of the federal bench.
At this point it's difficult to tell if Cannon is trying to be her own 'supreme court justice' ... a 'senator' ... a 'congressional house representative' ... or a 'lawyer/advocate' for Trump. However, it's blatantly obvious that she's definitely NOT a judge.
Why isn't anyone trying to drum up an interview with her two former law clerks that walked off the job?!?!

She went beyond her judicial right in questioning the Special Counsel's financial situation not to mention questioning even the validity of having one. There have been Special Councils since the 1800's. And her Judicial position does not give her the right to question either how much they spend or are paid not their validity as Prosecutor, period. If I'm not mistaken those lines of questioning is in violation of her Judicial Code of Conduct. And if so, she has, I say thankfully, Slit her own Throat. And all Jack has to do is craft his appeal to the 11th and set it in motion. I am certain they are salivating at the opportunity to "B" slap her down verbally and put the final nail in her Judicial standing give n her having been rebuked with prejudice already not even to mention telling her Judicial Supervisors to basically piss off she was going to take the case. She obviously has an Ego wider than the Grand Canyon is deep and thinks she's untouchable.

You can thank our AG Garland for his sheer stupidity in bringing the documents case in Florida when
the crime originated in D.C.. Had he used his brain, this case would be over already. This wasn't his
first display of stupidity, for he could have had Trump stand trial with the leader of The Oath Keepers
who, even though he wasn't physically in D.C. on January 6th, his conviction was fast with a long prison
term. Who do you think was his General? I'll give you a hint, the initials of that person was DJT.
The obstruction happened in Florida.
Trump was president when he took the documents. Therefor it was legal, tho questionable for him to take them. The illegal activity, refusing to return them and obstruction took place in Florida.
Indictments nearly always must be brought in the jurisdiction where the alleged crimes occurred. This is required by Rule 18 of the Federal Rules of Criminal Procedure: "Unless a statute or these rules permit otherwise, the government must prosecute an offense in a district where the offense was committed."
He owns the supreme court. It wold all get overturned anyway. There will not be a ruling on the executive privilege until after the election. Count on it. Pack the court already. Add another 4 or 5.
The case in Washington DC is on hold too. And Judge Chutkin is a good judge. Change of venue seems to make no difference.
