I love how they bring Kathy in to their videos. She's (ironically) the unsung hero of voiceplay so including her is very cool!
That last scene with Kathy and Geoff was cool. She literally peiced him together like a puzzle. It hits you right in the feels. 😢
Good analogy. Geoff and Kathy are two halves of a whole. The love that shines in their eyes when they look at each other is the true stuff rom-coms like to pretend they have.

And Geoff wrote the bridge section to make it less repetitive. And it's beautiful. Anthony has now joined VP for a few videos, such as Creep, Seven Nation Army. It's not always easy to see what the singers are doing when they record as opposed to how they appear in the lip sync. It many not be identical in some cases.
This is so fun. The blocks on the shelf spelling out VoicePlay. Kathy the toy maker building her perfect man. Doesn't just melt your heart the way Geoff looks at Kathy. ❤❤❤❤
I simply love this one! The arrangement is amazing, as is the 'story' they set it to, great to see Kathy get an extended part as she does so much behind the scenes (she is Production Manager for both VP and Geoff's channel). This one was perfect for Anthony, can't wait to see him again in another new one - I would recommend their latest, 'Hellfire', from The Hunchback of Notre Dame, also their cover of 'In The Air Tonight'..! #subscriptionsquad

I am so happy to see you back on the reaction trail, especially reacting to Voiceplay and Geoff. I am so hoping you will react to Valhalla Calling. They’ve put out some bangers over the past several months, but that song is a vocal and cinematic masterpiece. They push their vocal ranges to extremes in that piece.

Anthony is probably my favorite featured artist in VoicePlay (though I really love Adrianna too). His voice is both unique and meshes well with the other voices. I always get excited when I see a new video with him featured.

Golden Hour had become one of my top VoicePlay songs! I like it better than the original.

Hi Danielle, two more VoicePlay covers with Anthony Gargiula that I don’t think you’ve looked at yet: “Wellerman”, a mini, just under 2 min; and “Creep”, a Radio Head song. Wellerman is just a lot of fun with cool harmonies and antics, while Creep is very moody. I think they would both be good to analyze.
I always find your analyses and observations on the vocal techniques quite interesting.

Even if the song wasn't wonderful, the vocals weren't beautiful, the production amazing, this would be my favorite just for that last scene with Geoff and Kathy!

I haven't listened to this in a while. I enjoyed the refresher! your reaction, as always, was thorough and informative. I am an outlier, in that Anthony doesn't really "ring my bell." If he could only HOLD a note on occasion.... He IS excellent with his runs, but to me it seems almost monotonous sometimes. Hi voice is excellent, don't misunderstand me... I just think he does 'cutesy stuff' a bit too much.
