I keep hearing from Airbus homers how horrible the cabin experience is on Boeing aircraft, but even the old 747s I've flown on were quite quiet. These -8s, wow. Smooth as silk.
It's unbelievable how strong and durable those wings are...and the amount of stresses they endure...especially with two heavy and powerful engines mounted on them.

The only thing that is going to be missing in aircraft terms is the special front door. Since a bunch of 747-8F will be around until the 40s, there will be a chance to come up with ideas on how to replace that.
Lovely filming and a sound take-off. I've passed through Frankfurt Airport and was amazed at the size of it! I'd love to visit Germany properly one day as well. One question I always wanted to ask is how is the weight of those massive engines distributed on the wings evenly?
I've traveled to Frankfurt about 3 times in my life the airport is huge! Compared to detriots airport detriots airport (detriot metropolitan Wayne county airport) is also really big I've been there 3 times in my life also I've been to beruit,nyc,Paris and Washington so I've traveled on a plane many many times
$512 canadian for a premium economy upgrade on an international flight ain't bad! I would of taken that offer 😁 the queen never dissapoints on take off!
Whats the hurry to take such a 180 deg hard turn without gaining proper altitude. The flight seems to be less than 1500 feet. It feels like something is wrong with the flight and pilot is returning in emergency.

The aircraft is on the taxiway going for the runway and these airlines still scrounge for an extra buck. They never stop do they.

When do they pull in the slats on a 747-8? Seems like he had plenty of speed by the time the video ended, but they were still deployed.
I think they reduced to flaps 5 ( you can hear it at 5:27) and hold the speed to 250 kts by increasing the climbing rate until 10 thousand feet
