Her reactions to slamming doors, a door unlocking, certain types of music, and women with curly hair; her middle-of-the-night terrors; only allowing her husband and sister to prepare her food and only ever in front of her; never wanting to be alone, even to go to the bathroom; her random breakdowns, even in front of her children; and so on. Sis really did ALL OF THAT for an abduction that NEVER REALLY HAPPENED!!! I need someone to help me process and we unpack that!! 'Cause lawd!! 🥴🤨🤯

This guy kept saying over and over she's hot, beautiful, a knock out, etc. That's why he was so caught up in her, but the real Sherri was underneath all of that. Not even her best friend saw it. She's a deeply disturbed woman.
Like most of America, I remember when Sherri went missing and, being the cynic that I am, I assumed she wouldn't be found alive. When she was found, I was happy to be wrong, since it's so rare to survive a kidnapping like that. Now, I never really believed Keith was responsible for her disappearance. His reactions just seemed genuine, unlike Scott Peterson or Chris Watts, but I also didn't believe Sherri staged the whole thing. She was, after all, severely hurt and people just don't do that to themselves intentionally, especially when they have small children. When the truth came out, I was floored. I was really angry that people were blaming Keith and really saying some terrible things about him, that were just way off base. He and his kids were, after all, the real victims. I watched this earlier today and I was really eager to see what Keith had to say. I'm glad he's moved on and is trying to provide a good life for his kids. He's a good dad and was a good husband who didn't deserve any of this.
I understand her family loves her. However, her sister is making some pretty lame excuses for her. I suspect she's done that all her life. Especially since her sister reported that Sherri called her in a panic, saying, "You have to help me, you have to fix this for me." The people who are the true victims in this story are Keith and the kids. Not to mention the fear, panic, racism and resources she wasted!! Then, she watched it all go down in the media. She gets 18 months and some probation. She shouldn't have unsupervised access to her children. She was willing to put her family thru this nightmare. What is she willing to do and say to the children? She is a garbage human. There's no excuse for what she did!!! None!
I have thought multiple times about how people would react if I went missing or if I had died, it’s an interesting feeling to know that so many people would care about you in a situation like that. Exhilarating almost. I think that idea got too far into her head and she needed to see it come to life. But with such a perfect seeming life it’s so bizarre. And disgusting

Women do not just simply abandon the Family Home....... they are driven out, driven to madness. As I watch the final 30 minutes, I hope to find she has moved on and found selflove. Far too many people get married & breed without thinking about the consequences.

I think it's more about her childhood. Her mom seemed almost annoyed to be tying missing person ribbons when she was still missing, and had the nerve to complain on facebook that she didnt look cute in the photo...imagine growing up with a mother who would be worried about her own appearance if you were really kidnapped and being tortured! Add to that, Sherri's mother even posted celebratory posts about Donald Trump winning the election while Sherri was missing still, it was absolutely bananas! Like, if she thought Sherri was lying, she should have just said that to Shasta County Sheriff's Officers, but she played along and appeared at some of the events, begrudgingly...why??? Keith might have been sort of aloof to Sherri at times, but I don't think he (or James, or really any of her other known boyfriends) ever actually hurt her. In my opinion, it's more about Sherri's deep need for attention and adoration, which makes sense if her parents weren't paying enough/the right kind of attention to her growing up. I know her older sister turned out wonderful, but that happens a lot with dysfunctional families-the older sibling acts as the parent figure instead, which is what poor Sheila had to do, even being forced into the position of acting as Sherri's family spokesperson, all while VERY pregnant! It's all so wild, and there is SO MUCH that isn't even included in the series.
Her husband and whoever did this docuseries deserves an Emmy! Exceptional work !!!
