The only thing stopping me from getting the new 4000d is the fact that the power button and usb are down the bottom with no way to swap to top, now considering they are banging on about how the case is customisable this is a big over sight.
A new HX1200i is to be released in the second quarter of 2025. Should I pick up an old one for a discounted price (no native connector) or wait for the new one?
Hey, Aris. I would like to ask about PCIe connector If the PSU has Native 12VHPWR & 2x 8Pin PCIe to 12VHPWR; Which cables do you prefer the most? I saw your post that if ATX 3.0 use 2x 8Pin PCIe to 12VHPWR on the modular board, it will be ATX 3.1 Compliance Thanks in Advance
@@HardwareBusters Why do you prefer it to the native one? I'm in the market for a HX1500i but I don't want to wait until Q2 for it, so I'll have to buy the ones currently available.
Just discovered your channel and cybenetics while looking for a new psu and it is really hard to decide which one to buy. Im glad i found you but now im not able to decide^^... Which PSU would you recommend for a 9800X3D + 5090 FE/Custom. I really want an ATX 3.1/PCIE5.1 PSU these are on my list: NZXT C1500 Platinum (bad cables? too stiff); Lian Li Edge 1300W( bad fan? too loud); FSP Hydro ptm pro atx3.1 1350w and the Enermax PlatiGemini 1200W. I want a minimum of 1200W because it is recommended on the MSI website for their custom models my price limit is 300€ to 350€ thanks in advance and keep up the good content :D
Are you recommendeding I sell my unopened Asus Rog Thor II 1200w I got in the mail for free (happy amazon shiping mistake, addressesed to me of course😁). Since the Thor says pci 5.0 ready, but lacks ATX3.X, and would likely require addapter cable for RTX 5090? However, I read that the Thor range now includes a 8 to 16pin adapter cable in the box (ATX connector 20+4 pin, 620mm) My second chose in PSU was the Corsair HX1200I (ATX 3.1) I'm really liking that 4000D case too!
It has 12+4 connector/cable so it is fine. The cable is the same in ATX v3.0 and v3.1 PSUs. The only difference is in the connector on the PSU's modular panel.
@ Ah I think I get it, because a native ATX 3.0 is required for spike protection, but that shouldn't be an issue for a 1200W PSU powering a 5090 (575-600w max if overclocking)
This is a good question. What will we be missing out on if we buy PSUs which are 3.1 compatible but do not have the native 12V-2x6 corrector in the PSU?
There too expensive for what they bring to the table. That's all I need to know. They should of never went public. Now they have to raise prices for stockholders. Mean while little companies can give a product just as good for a faction of the price because they don't have stockholder to answer too.

You forgot to show the Cyben badge on the PSUs! :-)
Thumbs up for the vid!
Yes I need a case like this for my bliuld
Great, thank you !!!

If they had put it in the top they would not have space there for a 360mm AIO, that is the sole reason.
It's clearly for towers that also go on desks and not on the floor. Computers on the floor is a thing of the past.
hello may i ask, for the case panel at 3:27 is there a chance that front panel can be sold separately and used for the current 4000D airflow ?
I am not sure if this will work.
I tought corsair would release AX&HX-i 2025
not yet

@HardwareBusters do you have any input? :-D
Did corsair not have the xenon edge on display?
I don’t remember to be frank
Corsair said they weren’t going to do a 12VHPWR connector on the psu side!?! They went back on their word…. Not surprised.. Typical Corsair….
They used 12V-2x6

When the case will be available?
Pretty soon I guess.
is it only me or at the start you look like the person from corsair
We both wear glasses and have white hair :D My glasses are for video though
Corsair dominator titanium has CUDIMM ?
I am not sure. Don’t pay much attention to RAM section, sorry
