thanks so much for taking the time to show we new owners all of this. It was very informative. Under your advise, I have bought the Durkee frames, and came back here to watch this again, before trying them out. Did someone local do your b-board or did you have to send it out?
It's kind of annoying that Janome doesn't offer more hoops with templates for the MB-4/7. I'm trying to find something for embroidering over the pocket on pocket tees right now.
I use a lot of different hoops on my machine. And I make my own templates. Very easy to make and I have mad a video on how to do this. let me see if I can find it and send you a link.
here is a link to how to make your own templates for your hoops. You may have to join my MB4 group to view it. For some reason youtube has removed my on on here. facebook.com/groups/509122482563786/permalink/583615995114434
@@DianaSmithMB Thanks Diana. I'll join the group. (you'll see me as "Rod") I came up with a plan, ordered a Durkee 12.5x24 hoop, and a template for a Janome RE20B hoop, and I came up with a way to very accurately align the hoop and machine, and modify to work with the Durkee hoop for very precise, repeatable results. I'll share my method when I get the materials, on your Facebook group.
Love your videos. I have a question, if you can help me sure would appreciate it. I have a MB 4. Love it. But I am a newbie. My machine came with a monagram program. Do I need to buy another program to do other embroidery patterns? I thank you for your time.
No it does not. If you are new to embroidery it can be a little scary but , very easy to learn. It does take practice and patience but that is true in any thing. Just don't bite off more then you can chew as they say. If you have any questions just ask you can contact me at my email at twostars321@yahoo.com
Diana Smith sorry to hear that I send my condolences to you Diana ..an thank you for the response because I’ve been using the m2 hoop an logos I do happen to not come out as perfect sometimes

hello, do you sell the rack accessories and the complete rail with the arms
I am Perú
Thank you. Can you tell me how to change settings in the Janome MB-4 to accept full use of the 12x6 hoop?
Sorry there are no settings. It will only sew the same area as the M1 hoop that is the largest it will sew. No matter if you do put on a bigger hoop.
Can you use a cylinder for hats on janome mb4s?? I hate that you have to smoosh a hat to embroider on mb4s
Could not find this, but need help. Turned my back and bobbin thread ran out, but mb4s kept sewing. How do I back it up to where it ran out of thread?
Diana could you please tell me how to calibrate a RCS on a Janome mb4 s ?
