About this video: In this video BELLA+CANVAS and Eagle Promotions show you that you can achieve the same embossed t-shirt effect without the need for an expensive embossing machine. By using puff inks and suede puff as well as color matching the ink with the shirt you can truly achieve the look and feel of an embossed t-shirt without the expense.
86 mesh screen, coated heavy on the print side. burn the screen at least 50% longer than you would a 126 mesh be careful washing out the image area, Print with a lot of off contact and use a sloooow stoke speed. Wala! perfect print!
@RobBoi Yes, you still need to cure the print. Conveyor dryer the best way to go and a little longer dwell to get the good rise of the puff.
This would not only revolutionize embossing but will definitely change technique styles especially toward art, bold designs, and different colors can definitely do so much to enhance the industry printing, thanks for sharing. I've not seen any techniques like this.

What ratio of puff additive to the ink is used and how many layers to get this effect?
I remember this printing trend on the early ‘90s. It was nice but I recall the embossed images crumbling away from my shirts.

Hi, one question, how many washes can Textile Embossing last on a t-shirt before it starts to lose its original shape?
Hi there! You can expect to get 10+ washes out of this before you begin to see some wear and tear. Of course this always depends on your wash care of the product as well. Washing inside out and with cold water always helps your prints lasting longer!
Can you show/work with a company that actually does the embossing instead of the puffs?? The other option looks a lot cleaner

That's an interesting idea to try!
You can always use flock HTV. It is raised and very soft. You can even layer it in top of brick HTV and it will be raised even more, giving a 3D look.

Great video but it doesn't look the nearly the same as true emboss in my opinion.

Adidas and Versace exemples shown at the begining are absolutely not Puff ink... it's 3d emboss + foam insert.
How to remove it
I paid a lot of money for two shirts to have puff print from China and you can barely see the puff at all. Are you accepting new clients at this time?
This is not really a how to video... important info such as mesh count, additive manufacturers, whether or not this was cap film or just a normal emulsion stencil... This was more of a "Hey, look at these guys doing something cool with our garments" video.

That's not embossing, it's just printing Puff. / Suede base.
correct! it's a cheaper way of getting the embossed effect--not the same of course, but for some the lower cost makes this a desirable option
