The woman was bessie braddock a boring ugly politician. Winston didn’t come on to her. They had finished dinner and it was custom for the women to ‘retire’ and leave the men to the port.

I'm British and never understood why we call them pants. I call trousers pants. Because boxers/briefs are "underpants", as in under your pants. That's how I always thought of it.

Don't like Al Murray, he's actually a little rich boy who went to Oxford University, his grandad was an ambassador from the aristocracy, he plays a character pretending to be a commoner, I obviously don't mind working class comics but when these posh little rich boys pretend to be one by playing a character they invented it's like they are taking the piss and making money off the back of poor people
