Frankie's accent is like most of the central Scotland Irish imigrant population mostly from County Donegal, which is distinct from the rest of Scotland (myself included) and can be harder to understand as we have our own peculiar way of pronouncing some words. Examples of this are seen in the pronunciation of the words stair ("sterr"), hair ("herr"), fair ("ferr") and chair ("cherr")
I live 25 miles from the Scottish border, the higher into Scotland you go the more the dialect increases ..I cant understand them if they are broad Scottish and they cant understand my Cumbrian accent too 🤣
. . . Interesting comment from a. n. other, ‘marra’. Your comment is correct … until you arrive in the Highlands. And, then it goes the other way-?.. Must have something to do with all of those immigrant English, me think’s?..
@@donaldcook3112 hi marra , i dont know..but i love the Scottish people with all my heart as never had any problems riding motorcycles up there and going into bars for drinks
Believe it or not but Frankie has watered down his Glaswegian accent big time so that people other than natives of Glasgow have a chance of deciphering our broad accent. Still he's funny af.
@@joeymuch7415Tbf, I loved it, but his original humour style did get him blacklisted from a lot of income opportunities. I don't blame him toning it down to pay the bills.
@@gamefreakforlife The point is that he gets away with his hard comedy because he's a darling of the woke left. Other comedians are slated for making fun of the same issue. I.e Trans men/women. When Ricky Gervais made humour out of the trans issue the Woke media jumped onto him. Good old Frankie though...
Went to see him live 2 weeks ago. He was fucking brilliant
Going to see this man in January, wish I hadn't bought front row seats 😮 Take care From Northern Ireland..
How was the show??? Please tell me it was brilliant...

All his live dvds are excellent 🤣
He’s legend 😂
FYI, the UK dies NOT have an accent, we speak English.
On the other hand, English speaking countries have an accent...
Some of us have other languages that were here before English
Every area of the UK has its own accent, which one are you calling out as the non accented English, the original?
@@welshpenguin7even us Scots used to speak Welsh
Kevin Bridges also from Glasgow is worth a laugh

Pure Scottish
Funny the way you pronounce Scousers.
Don't worry, I'm English and don't understand Scousers
Lads, you have to watch Paul Smith with the cancer fella
I subbed. Calm down
You guys are reacting to 96% of references you don't understand and the other 4% is the accent you also can't comprehend. Cringe.

It's exhausting being Scottish, no one understands us.
Frankie is from Glasgow
Great video guys. Frankie Boyle is hilarious and a true reflection of Glasgow.
Woke rubbish?
I cant find part one
Don't worry us English cam struggle with the Scots accent
At least we Scots know how to spell 😂 (cam!) 😂😂
Speak for yourself - I have never once met a Scotsman I struggle to understand.
The problem with our Scottish accent is that we talk very fast so I say to all Americans who'd like to understand us - think faster !
No one abuses members of the audience like Frankie Boyle…🤩
Sort of reverse Kristallnacht :)
Put the subtitles on
Loved your reactions, fellas. Great as usual😂
He's woke now, isn't he?
He is, totally backtracked on the humour that made him

Yep. It's a shame
He makes harder comedy than any of the comedians bitching about wokeness
