Two good tips here: 1) when screwing on a composite shock cap, first go counter-clockwise a bit to reduce the chance of stripping the threads and 2) when bleeding, hold the shock at and angle with the bleeder hole facing up to vent air.
From what I've been reading, this would be an ideal setup for my MT410 shocks, correct? It's also much harder to mess up than building shocks the normal way!
do I need to "prep" the shock say after lunch to re-emulsify the oil or is that some special fluid? Just checking looked like reg 500 cst shock fluid...thanks
No need to re-emulsify the oil, it will do that by itself. Only maintenance we recommend is rebleeding the emulsion shocks if the temperature changes more than 20 degrees or if you traveled to a location with a different altitude. These are the same recommendations we would make when using bladders as well.

So do you still need the side bleeder hole? If I already have the side bleeder hole can I still use the caps as emulsion by drilling the top hole?
By the way which part number is the oring for the M4 screw? Why it doesn’t come with kit?
HL good question.

what model drill are you using?
So is an emulsion setup not recommended for carpet? TKS
emulsion are better suited for bumpy tracks. so bladder setup is probably the way to go
how about a video with aluminum caps
