(I think I read it somewhere online). In any case, I was going to get that radio but it's been discontinued on towerhobbies.com. Do you suggest I still get that radio system or no? Plus the local hobby shops here are supporting Airtronics, Futaba and Spektrum radios. Is the M12 really being discontinued? I just want a radio system with telemetry, is and will be supported in the future and one that I can get good latency with where the receivers are not $100 or more. Please help.

Sanwa will continue producing radios - as for the M12 being discontinued - it might be, just like the M11x was to make way for the M12. I'm sure Jason will comment on the M12

I just built a SCT410.3 and it was the best kit I've ever built.. Tekno builds some nice kits.. Made me want this buggy for sure.. Just can't decide between this and the Associated..
the new b3e was really a let down, actually got rid of it in favor of my rc8.2e tekno eb48.3 blows the new associated out of the water on the first run
Tekno just sold 100 kits in 10 minutes... One being mine...I Just HOPE they sent it to you for the review because they deserve the sales you will produce. I had an EB48 original and it was the toughest RC I have ever owned it was a complete beast.
+thecman26 the elctri-clutch has pretty much been forgotten. You can still find the kit in some areas, but I believe they discontinued it due to low sales.
I notched the arms on my sct410.3 and removed the center and rear chassis brace and noticed it allowed a lot more flex. It makes the truck handle rough blown out tracks a lot better.
Nice Vid. I have the Tekno SCT 410.3 and love it. Have not raced it yet just practice at the track. Planning on getting the E-Buggy in the future. very solid cars from tekno.

+toymachine2020 tekno, All day. Buy the AE, and be prepared to start putting mugen parts in it to make it durable. I know of a few that has already, before the first pack was ran.
hey jason, i live out in michigan not to far from dirt burners and washtenaw rc raceway. my favorite class of truck is stadium i currently race a t4.1 factory team i would like to upgrade to a t5m but being only 14 its not easy to go out and buy one so if i were to go out and get one what mods should i get for it or is there a better truck out there?
I've the SCT410.3, awesome car! If had the cash I would buy the EB44.3 in a heartbeat. I have heard people call them Tankno, true in durability but not speed. They such a quality kit. As far as I know there is only one distribution in Australia and they are excellent to deal with(Coast to Coast, in Queensland). That's the only downside as an Australian, but I've never needed the support because of the quality. So no big deal, and even if I have to wait a week for a part, well so be it. Great review!
Great review! There are some titanium turnbuckles on ebay! Just FYI! Have you tried running this buggy with the SMC 3600 4s? Saves you a ton of weight! Keep up the excellent work!
new subscriber here and looking into getting back into racing again after 2 decades, ive always ran kyoshos years ago. ive noticed in all your vids you lean heavy towards kyosho it seems. would you recommend sticking with my guns "kyoshos" or are the mugens and teknos on the same level? i will mostly be 1/10 electric racing but want to get into 1/8 electric later this year.

Hey Jason! Just out of Curiosity, I know that you don't buy a car to review unless it's one that YOU want, but if someone were to buy a car and Electronics for said car would you be willing to unbox, build, and review it and then send it back to the owner after you are done?
Kyosho, Mugen, Losi and Tekno are the true leaders in 8th scale. All 4 of them are innovative, designing their own cars differently and each are unique. Plus they are the fastest and consistent cars. Everyone else is imitating or copying them with cheap versions that still do not have the same speed or consistency. AE and X-ray should stick with 1/10 scale if all they plan to do is copy others or take from every brand. The only thing AE has is 2wd cars. They lost my respect due to terrible customer service and being weasely, not designing their own cars. But they got top racers winning races to trick shoppers that they make the greatest cars.
lol you are fun . Look the S workz e 35-3e or serpent srx8. Innovation and performance is realy well . They juste need pilots like ongaro or teyssman to be champion

Does it still have the option for the electri-clutch? it would then brake like a nitro.
