I have some external shock limiters on my very cheap losi plastic shocks :) Should I remove those before refilling and bleeding? I would think that with those on, I wouldn't be able to push the piston all the way in.
Great video..have you got part Number? I Need to try emulsion on my new e819rs coming Next week and basing on your anither video i think they Will work on a track i have to run on September. Thanks
If I have time I let them sit so all the air goes out. Sometimes I'm in a hurry and then I don't bother making sure 100% of the air is out. However I want as much air as possible to be out of course for a more consistent feel on the track!
Nebojsa I missed doing them! I don’t know what size they are, haven’t measured them. We are just testing some different ones to see which ones to produce👍
I have used the plastic caps. We are working on some new aluminum caps for it too which will be similar to the volume of the plastic ones. I think the car handles better with those👌
I’m still learning, so cut me some slack on this... It seems like other sources say you want rebound, yet you say you want NO rebound. I’m confused about the disparity here.
Nathan Strong on emulsion you don’t want any rebound the idea is on a bumpy track the shocks absorb the bumps better and the car rides smoother. Also on jumps the car won’t jump back up
In my 20 years of driving 1/8 offroad I've never liked running with rebound in the shocks. Could be personal preference but the car is easier to drive like this👍
That's not how one uses an o-ring, it would have to sit at the bottom of the threads, what you'll want in this case is a flat washer at the top of the cap if you're not using a blader
i'm a fan after you won @ Las Vegas IFMAR nitro racing..then decided to get HB-truggy & buggy..good luck on coming racing event,
Bardzo ciekawe ,wypróbuję ten sposób
Dzięki i Pozdrawiam

Looks good, DR!
Thanks!
where did you get the shock oil?

AMoN HB-204671 is the part number
Joe helped you out on this matter I saw. Hope you enjoy the car👍
When you build emulsion shocks, do you let the air out of the oil before putting the cap on it?

@@davidronnefalk thank you for your reply 😉👍🏻
Finally a video!
jason bucao Yeah right, it’s been too long!
What is the part number for these o-rings? I need them.
When or why you change from the performa blader to the emulsion?
William Sing I will post a separate video of that after I have posted my next video which is going to be building shocks with the Performa Caps👍
@@davidronnefalk thanks. You should do another video of the racetrack you were building.
Any update on d418 shock Owings for the caps
Robert Romano They will be coming as well!
I really missed you video. What dimension of O-Ring?
Nebojsa I missed doing them! I don’t know what size they are, haven’t measured them. We are just testing some different ones to see which ones to produce👍
David Ronnefalk I’ve just got the emulsion o-rings from hb racing for my car 👍
What is the advantage and characteristic of emulsion style shock?
I will make a separate video talking about this once I have published the Performa Cap video.
What emulsion shock caps do you run on the D418?
I have used the plastic caps. We are working on some new aluminum caps for it too which will be similar to the volume of the plastic ones. I think the car handles better with those👌
What's the o-ring size or any part number?
They will be released shortly.

Try again, should be working again ;)
