Mitas is a Czech company owned by Michelin. They probably don't have one of those programs where you pick up your new tire at the factory. Kind of a steampunk thing talking to an intercom.
I ride the E07's front and rear. I am on my second set. They have worn really well, with a long useable tread life. I have to ride a good ways on the hard to get to my dirt, and they are the best tire at both dirt and road for me. Probably the best 50/50 compromise I have found. Don't worry about us off road oriented viewers, we're with you for the ride no mater where you go, or who comes along. When adding " rear foot-pegs" to your lifestyle, you have to consider increasing the comfort and the safety of Atlas. Hence a little compromise in tires and routes. I am glad you have found a friend who can appreciate the travel on Atlas. She's no Yoko-ono! :) P.S. I have tried riding dirt with a pillion, and it is really hard! I hope you don't try to rip it like you do on the back roads with her on back, but you probably will!
I spent the last 6 months in Bialystok ! It is an amazing city, very underrated. Around the time of you making this, I made a vlog myself! Very cool channel, keep making awesome content :)
"Do swidania" means "good bye" in Russian language :) If you want to say it in Polish, you may say "do widzenia" :) I'm waiting on the next episode. As always :)
I really appreciate your polish accent - really good pronunciation 🙂 History in Poland has slightly different context than west of Europe - only in ww2 6 000 000 Poles lost their souls...
Love the way You explained how to pronounce "ł" (like w in English) and that's actually true. :D Let us know when You will plan to visit Poland again (west part this time maybe). We can help You to organize place to sleep, or with some places You need to see here. Great video!
Thanks for the videos Pedro. How do you find places to stay while travelling...especially in countires where you do not speak their language? Do you use an app or? Just curious what works best.
I used to walk into places when needed and check availability. Without language basic English words, gestures, body language and notes becomes the communication form. Even haggled this way for room prices. Now it's mostly on the Booking app, rarely airbnb anymore because that app has become extremely bad. Private hosts are on Booking too now and offering better prices anyway, especially once you collect level 2/3 genius loyalty discount (this might be bs with hotel prices but with private hosts I think the discount is legit).
The spot, where you've parked your bike at city center, is called "śmietnik" ("trash bin" in english) and that's common place of Białystok's bikers meeting ;)
It is, and that's how it was noted on maps. A literal bike meeting spot because every rider that stopped there shook my hand. All happened so fast I didn't get any footage. Really cool, cheers
I have a feeling this trip will be one of your most epic trips. 👍🏻 So nice people in Poland ❤️ and lovely places to visit 👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻 Ride safe 😉👍🏻👍🏻 and take care of Mar.....?
Haha trippy to hear some guy playing Tom Petty in city square middle o no where Poland and old Joe Bison makes another appearance.. reverse Glasnost ? Good times Pedro
Thanks for identifying, never got into Petty but he's up next. Everywhere in the world there are talented people on squares, in tunnels and streets banging out tunes.
@@brianbennett6978 Mitas def on the upper crust of rubber, but I don’t do enough trail to warrant the expense, I’d hate to buy only to burn them up on asphalt
Haven't seens your videos for some time nad suddenly BANG - you're in my city:D Anyway I have both e-07 and i think its a good compromise if you like 50% pavement and 50% dirt.
The tractionator is an excellent tire, I run the I/T on my dual sport but to be honest, the Motoz Desert H/T is probably the one for you. It will hold up longer and still has excellent grip. I run that one on my 790R, I'm not a fan of the HT front tire though...
Cheers, always a bit easy on any tire in the beginning. These patterns never are, only knobs will put you slightly at ease in the mud. On the rear it has been great, soft rubber but still lasting so far and sticking on the mild off-road we've done. I really dig Mitas, so far only winners and same goes for the mc23 front I'm putting on later.
Białystok is the 10th city Polish in terms of the number of inhabitants (300,000, agglomeration about 420,000). The surface area is of medium size and that is why we have a high population density.
Gdynia, Białowieża, my roots... getting a ticket, for doing f all... yeah that's Poland that i remember, and i've happily left for a more civilised country
Oh man I really resisted the urge to “Yoko Ono-ing “ you. Not everyone’s life can be spent entirely traveling the world by the least traveled route. So I guess we’ll see where this Mariska takes us.
over 300,000 people live in Białystok, there were many more beautiful places to visit, but it is a pity that you did not speak to me, I would show you the station and various parks in Białystok
Hisory has to be showed and honoured for the future generations because as life nowadays showing on the Ukraine's example- history likes to be repeated.
You are already driving around Poland a bit. I understand that this is your first trip to this country. Now tell us what did you learn about Poland? Any conclusions?
The Polish seem to have it figured out at the moment. Place looks booming on the coast and in the cities with happy people and a lot of families out and about. You can sometimes feel the contrast between the 'old' and the 'new', the hard times are still in peoples memories so they seem happy with their own brand of 'moving forward'. Like the Baltic countries proud of their history because they know how much suffering it took to get where they are (or even exists for that matter). Most affordable country too with their own currency, especially when compared to the Baltic countries so that seems to be bringing in business and opportunities.
I enjoy your vids very much....but damn, be careful in that volatile area. Shit could pop of with Russia or the Belarusian army in a heartbeat. Don't want to see you get caught behind the line and not be able to exit. And it's too cool you know the lyrics from a Steppenwolf song!!!!
No worries mate, there is a lot of NATO troops in this area. Poles and NATO have things under control. Russians know if they start something evil against Poland and NATO, their Kaliningrad city is going to be turned into rubble.
Love you vlogs, but in reality, whilst it’s great to be proud of where you come form I.e. you country of birth, in reality we are all citizens of the world and borders don’t matter anymore, we need to protect our earth, not our country, come on folks let’s wake up plse.

Will you pass through Suwałki on your trip up north?
No we took the most southern Polish Lithuanian border crossing, was an unsealed road.
Why do you say do svidania in Poland?
Looks like a nice ride. I think you probably going to Nord Kapp ?
