I'm planning my own MR2 swap and these videos are doing everything I have planned. Makes me feel good my plans will work, but makes me sad he is filming it all first. :P
I'll be doing a different engine anyways, and no matter what I love BoostedBoiz! I can't wait to see this MR2 run. :D

You are a good engineer bro, very impressed with how you are going about this project. I had a nice MR2 once, cruised around in it for about 6 months, did a bit of drifting in Mexico on rainy nights, then one day I just lost it around a long left-hand bend at about 70mph, the road must have been slippery or something, and it rolled 4 times, 2 barrel rolls and 2 end-over-end! Anyway, you are a better driver than me so you should be ok, but be alert, especially at the speeds you will be doing haha

i would suggest putting solid shifter bushings and zip ties on the cables every couple inches.. makes shifting much more crisp. can always come check out my accord here in the fort if you want to see what im talking about

So with the trans behind you and shifter facing in the opposite direction, wouldn't the shifter need to be turned around? When you said you were in first that would be more like 5th or 4th and reverse would be first gear? Maybe rookie question but I can't wrap my head around it.
