100% this. You don't need max power to wax cars on street. Dialed in tune with no inconsistencies through powerband, quick spool on turbo, dialed in suspension and good tires for grip. Almost no one has all of that.
Finally rolled out the shop on its own power today just need to do few things here and there and let Brent do his magic on the dyno i think it will make more power than this mr2 in the vid ... I just wish kyles was awd it would be insane but its gonna be a beast and should run low 9s easy i hoping for high 8s which would be crazy

I can see how a Mid ENG RWD Honda powered MR2 would do well. in either drag racing or road racing. MR2s don't often get credit for being a well handling car. they always lacked power.
Seeing a few k20 swapped mr2 and even more k20 swapped lotus elise... makes you wonder what if honda ever built a mid engine rwd car, well... at least I'm starting to see more k24/k20 swapped s2k's. The f20/22 are awesome motors as well but the better mid range torque on the k's seem ideal on them. k20's are the LS series of the 4 bangers. Awesome n/a, supercharged or turbo'ed.

MK3 turbo supra is by far best bang for buck.....Comes factory with more HP then a 5.0 mustang and has more torque then HP......Stock internals and transmission can handle over 700hp.....So bolt on for bolt on it produces more hp for less money and the I6 can put out just as much HP as a V8 and the I6 produces more torque. at a lower RPM......You can get one for $3K anyday
Steven Marzullo they dont have near the aftermarket that mustangs have and when you get into modding one it is more expensive then a foxbody and they are alot heavier for the most part
