As an American I am surprised that the North American market gets a similar but yet not the same vehicle as a Nissan Armada. Why a similar off-road capable model is not offered here is surprising.
Compared to Landcruiser GRS, $40k price difference buys heck lot fuel. Resale value shouldn't be terrible either especially compared to Defender, which will cost a fortunate to maintain in repairs once out of warranty.
I'm interested in "Most probable is an aftermarket option". You don't know, but you still thought you should add noise. You could google and learn something, yet you still chose to add uninformed noise. Your uninformed noise. Why?
No apple play No digital Speedo No seat cooling Foot handbrake & Dash instruments from the 1980s it’s still not good enough for 2023 for this kind of money & Nissan saying it’s 14L & ends up 20L & that’s what most reviewers are saying the good parts is the engine if you can afford the huge cost in fuel & sounds like very comfortable seats 😎
You're reading the wrong reviews, most I read or see get better than this reviews claims, and owners tell a completely different story, as in the comments here. Owners of both the 200 series & Y62 (yes there are fortunate people in this world) will tell you it as economical and better when towing than the 200 series and is just a better option all round to drive, even engine braking, figure that one. This guy is punching the throttle purely because he can, once you own one you just don't drive it like you stole it, there is ample power available the whole time without punching it. A dedicated Toyota man in town purchased one over the 200 when updating from his 100 series (previously 80 & 60 series boy) as it just offered so much more for so much less. He gets better fuel economy towing his Jayco van than I do out of my Y61 4 cylinder diesel towing my Coromal van but there is no such thing as a hill or slow lane, he can out and round up everything whilst I get to remain in the que, bugga. Shoulda bought one myself. Ask an owner, not a drive it like you stole it cause you can reviewer.
Always have a laugh when a journo flogs a press car then is amazed at how bad the fuel economy is :D My parents have a Warrior that is sitting on 16L/100 with around town use, and that's a car with less than 2000km's on the odo, so it will free up and do better with further use. It will be interesting to see how it does on the highway on a long trip.
AWD is great for towing, not having worrying about traction on hill starts when wet or in loose gravel is big plus. 2WD RWD can struggle in these situations with big rig on back. If buying Patrol rig is likely to be well north of 2000kg.
perfect for taking the wife and little timmy to the mall! 💅
100% agree with the steering feel.

The dash showed at 1:35 is not from the 2023 MY in LHD markets. Most probable is an aftermarket option, the one we have is nicer.
We have this dash since two years now in the middle east

So disappointing to still get the 15yo interior. All whilst the LHD markets get new dash with current tech.
what is LHD?
@@A.N.A8It's the opposite of RHD.
@@A.N.A8 right hand drive. Check out the interior of the patrol in the UAE and you'll see what I mean.
Loved your review. Top job.
You can fit up apple car play using the same head unit if you want
100k for this vehicle is a steal!
Amazing!
Fronts seats aren’t heated in a Ti eg warrior

You’d have to be flogging it and idling a lot to get 20’s. For 3 k you can update the instrument cluster to full digital, same as infotainment unit.

They don’t have 2wd as an option. It’s auto or 4H.

@@montyspearo they are just under 2800kg.
@@Stevegrande1he meant most people buying the Patrol would be towing over 2 tons

Must of been flogging it to ave 20 ltr per 100. I ave 15 in mine and on a long run around 12 to 13. Never trust the trip computer in these things.
Agree. Mine is around high 11’s on a long run. Around town is 17/18 and that’s no highway just running around locally
Cd player🤔
Accounts trying to clearout old parts stock without having to write off.
Very good but very overpriced.
What other 8 seater 4wd with this capability and performance can you get cheaper than this?
Jesus did you film that with a potato
