I appreciate the warrior, yo can tell that the price of the car is because of the off road capabilities rather than gimmicks that nobody wants or needs. The car is still expensive but at least the price is justifiable by the upgrades added to the car.
I like technology, but by far prefer button controls and analogue gauges in a vehicle. Touch screens are terrible for a driver in a moving vehicle unless you are on a highway. This may be taking the whole button thing a tad far, but I would take this over the Ranger/Everest all controlling touch screen. The ease of use aside, no one ever talked about lag/delay in response until we got touchscreens.
Good integration of a touch screen can work, but physical controls for key functions, like HVAC, volume, etc I agree is vital. If you're using a pasted on tablet just to drive, you're basically staring at your phone. Given the interior the USA gets for the Armada, I agree, this is ancient and hard to justify for the price.
Haha the ~70 kmph reverse speed dropped my jaw 😂 70+ m of stopping distance in the wet is definitely something they need to work on. Please do a comparison video of this patrol warrior vs land cruiser in a mild extreme off-road. Cause that’s what they are built for and we can actually see which does better.
LC200 wouldn't know which way a Y62 has gone... there's plenty of great videos of these two going heads up. Start by looking up Dash Off-road. LC300 is better but you need the GR model with twin lockers to keep up with Y62. There is a 60k price difference...
It's not. These guys are just out to sell cars. Anyone wanting to do offroad that has half a brain would buy an old solid axle Patrol, spend 10k tarting it up and still be 70 grand better off and not afraid to use their vehicle as intended.
