After watching your entire ad for Aura, I felt compelled to write you this message. If you were to make short animated episodes of a "show" using your animation style, with the plot of each episode being a different troubleshooting scenario, I would somehow fall more in love with learning from your channel. Simple things like a Ticket appearing on screen stating a user cannot access their email, or that the printer is down, or a device will not connect to the network. All of theses simple troubleshooting scenarios would result in a calming, entertaining, and informative experience. Bonus points for a light hearted comedic tone.
This is the absolute best RUclips channel I've come across to explain networking in such a clear, concise way! I've learned so much by binge watching all his videos
THIS IS THE BEST EXPLANATION OF DNS RECORDS I'VE COME ACROSS! Visualization also helps a great amount and only couple of people are using visuals and even less do it as well as you! GREAT WORK AND THANK YOU 💯

Hi there, I love your videos. They have helped me learn all about networking technologies. Although one video I would love to see at some point is one about mDNS.
Greetings PowerCert! Thank you for your investment in making these simple to follow videos. I'm sure many before my have asked this question : what are you using for the animations? Please do tell!
@@PowerCertAnimatedVideosand it's quite wrong - mostly the first part - the root servers don't forward any request - in fact they get contacted quite rarely as all they serve is the root zone which is usually cached as it changes only rarely - mostly all 3 months for the new dnssec key also www and ftp are not sub-domains and in this context not even hostnames but rather service identifiers for the NS example: an information about requiered glue records when a nameserver is part of its own domain for SRV records: although it was its initial idea they don't get used due to security reasons for PTR: this example is incomplete and wrong as shown - as the check for reverse depends on SPF overall a very bad video considering all its errors and missing informations
