How DNS Works

  • A look at something you've just used, DNS!
    Note in my demo I request just the child part of the FQDN that the name server is authoritative for to avoid any cached entries return the final resolution too soon but as I said in the whiteboard the full FQDN is asked each time and you just get referred to the next nameserver down.

      wrote one years ago on Azure but no real interest in writing another using traditional publishing as too bigger lag and can't update.

      @@NTFAQGuy Learnpub allows authors to keep their books up to date but I get youir point. Books are difficult to write and keep up to date. I learn better by reading rather than watching videos, that's why I ask. Cheers
