Such a wonderful tutorial. I have all the same issues, and this will be my practice video. Thank you for taking the time to help your non-perfect sistas!
This was extremely educational & helpful for me personally - so many techniques I can apply. Nice job; you are so talented with makeup. Thanks for your time
Great explanation for how to correct the differences in your eyes. We all have some sort of issue with our face so it was very nice to see ways in which we can correct those problems. You do such a wonderful job of applying your make up and sharing the techniques you have learned with the rest of us. You look lovely, as always!
You are an artistic genius! My goodness I had never noticed the difference in your eyes, but when finish it all it looks totally even! That’s not something I could figure out very easily, and I don’t think many others could either! But it looks beautiful! Totally balanced! A work of art!!! Thanks much! This is a great video!
You are my eye twin....you are the ONLY makeup artist that has the same struggles that I have on my eyes. I have found your tutorials SO HELPFUL! Thank you so much :)
I’ve looked at your face so many times and never realized the magic you were implementing with your makeup! This is a wonderful testament to the power of makeup-thank you SO much for sharing these tips in this light. xo
You are such an artist! What a helpful video! Though you seem to use a lot of steps I’m sure you get through it quickly with practice; also you are beautiful inside and out! Your finished look is soft and natural looking not “cakey”. I never had anyone to teach me these tricks so I appreciate your love. XOXO
Awww, thank you so much and I'm so glad you found this video helpful!💕 Yes, since I've been doing these steps for so long, I don't even really have to think...it does go very quickly😘
Such an amazing video!!! I would never, ever say you have flawed eyes. I've actually never noticed. Guess it's because you do such an amazing job or maybe because I'm not very observant. Your makeup always looks flawless, my friend!!! Thank you and take care.
Great tutorial. I definitely have the hooded eyes plus I have eyebrows that have stopped growing. I can never make mine look natural penciling them in. Yours look awesome!!! I think your Beautiful!!
I don’t know if those without these kinda eye shapes * hooded/downturned/uneven/droop* realize just how phenomenally helpful a video like this is! Such a superstar tutorial! Wedge shaped eyeliner changed my makeup life, I’ve watched you for years now and it’s single handedly one of the most helpful tips/techniques ever!
Sharalee …. It’s amazing how makeup can be quite a correction tool for imperfections. No one would ever realize your few areas that you corrected you are a very attractive person and only because you pointed out as you say your flaws no one would believe corrections were necessary. The video was so interesting You looked lovely. You really have tricks that work. 👍👍. 🥰
Wow what a fantastic tutorial Sharalee! I have a “lazy eye.” That’s what East Tennesseans call it anyway. 😂 This was so very helpful. I have noticed a few times that your eyeshadow was not the same on both eyes but then the finished look is always perfect. I just figured you were doing something off camera in between! Silly me. I’m so thankful you explained this. I will be referring back to this one from time to time as I did the ND palette video. Thanks for all that you do for us viewers. God bless!

Wow! Thank you for sharing this. I couldn't believe I've been doing almost the same steps forever. I learned some new steps here that I will for sure try.
To me you looked just so pretty in the beginning of the video, you do not need all the extra you did on your eyes and brows. For me less is more becoming and less artificial.I hope you don't mind me saying this as its really a compliment that your natural looks look just real nice before all those add-ons.
You look beautiful. It's nice to know I'm not the only one with eyebrow spacing. My right eye is more hooded but I want people to notice the right side of my face because I have a broken capillary on my left that sometimes I don't have time to cover.
Sharalee, you are wonderful showing us how to correct our eye flaws. I have the beginnings of a droopy eye from aging, so finding this tutorial has been inspiring. Thank you very much. I also saw the video on the lovely woman in her 70s, you did her makeup. She looked so beautiful. 😍 ❤😊
Your eyes look beautiful after finishing with the makeup. I have a droopy eye and I hope I can improve it after watching this video. I do need to get some new brushes and experiment a lot with my eyes. Absolutely a wonderful video. Very informative. Thanks for sharing. Pat in NC
WOW!!!!! Well, I was just spellbound watching this video!! I just can't get over how you did this!! I just love all the tips you give! I cannot tell you how much I have learned from watching your videos!! You never cease to AMAZE me!! You have definitely found one of your gifts! By the time you were done, my mouth was just hanging open in amazement! I know I am going on and on, but Sharalee, you are a true MAKEUP ARTIST! I too have quite different eyes & eyebrows. This tutorial was so helpful. I do get Botox which helps "lift" my eyes & subtly lifts my brows too. They aren't imperfections, they are the differences that make us beautiful & unique.❤❤❤
Absolutely love your video. Thank you so much for sharing I have the exact same issues. Have not seen a video tutorial as amazing as yours. Thank you so very much. Have a blessed and amazing day!
Wow my eyes/brows are EXACTLY the same…right eye droops more/looks more closed than left and area between eye/brow greater than left! I thought I had another stroke because of right eye drooping more than left. But it’s just me lol. My eyebrows are exactly like yours too! The inner brow starts further over on left than right (opposite of yours but same problem). i always have problems trying to even out brows/eyeshadow so this helped me SO MUCH!!!! Thank you!!!❤️ Your makeup always looks soooo beautiful so always love to see your tutorials. Hope you’re doing well!!!
Great ideas! I've also started using lid primer on the bottom lash line to help it stay. It really works. I use the BELIEVE BEAUTY line....everything in that line is fabulous!
Wonderful!! That lower lash line often gets neglected by primer but it really works wonders in keeping liner in place. I'm SO happy to hear you continue to enjoy the whole line of Believe Beauty! I need to visit our Dollar General again and see if they have more that I can try😍
Hey! This was so very helpful! I have ALL that going on! 🤪 And you make it look so easy and effortless (even tho we know it comes with lots of practice and eye makeup remover 🤣) Thank you for doing this! 💕
this video reallyyyy helped me to do my eye makeup better, as I suffer with most of the same issues as you!, Furthermore, I just wanted to say, I hope u know that your still very pretty without any of the makeup on! Thanks for your help!. ☺️
I love all the different content you put into your videos but i like to keep my make-up a little more simple. I have tried various different eye shadow colors but i always seem to go back to my earthy brown tones. I do contour now which is somthing i have used from watching your videos so that has been helpful. You do give amazing tips and even though i don't do your make- up routine i still enjoy checking out your content
You are a beautiful lady, thank you for sharing. I have not worn makeup for years and at 65 years I really do not know I would know how. I also love your hair style. Again Thank you very much.
Great explanations and beautiful look! Do you have any tips on how to identify our unevenness, etc? Since I look at myself every day, I have a hard time seeing the exact flaws and Hubby is too sweet to say that I have flaws!
Thank you!💞 For me, I noticed more specifics by examining pictures and of course the random comment from a viewer (or brothers when I was younger....gotta love them😆) If you really want to get specific, you could put a grid over your picture and see if there is any uneven alignment of the eyes, brows, etc. as you are looking straight ahead. But I am sure you look beautiful as you are!!♥️
Thanks for sharing! I have one eye that droops due to glaucoma and both my eyes are hooded. So I really appreciate your tutorial on this!! Many blessings, Sharalee!! And thx again!!
Hello, beautiful! It is mesmerizing watching your techniques as you explain the "why". You are truly a talented artiste and your eye for and attention to detail is amazing. Thank you for sharing your valuable tips and tricks. You are also a gifted instructor.
So I don't forget... please give a list of your various eyebrow tutorials... thanks! What a fabulous tutorial. I already know I need to watch it several more times. My eyes are very uneven also... partially due to having had a brain aneurysm. Long story... but now I know that I need to stop trying to do my brows & eyes so that they look alike. Thank you, thank you, thank you!
Thank you for the reminder of the brow tutorials....I had to do an update to the description box😅 I'm so happy you found this helpful and hope the tips I shared work well for you too. Wow, a brain aneurysm....praise the Lord for bringing you through that!!🙏♥️
oh Sharalee, so many small steps. I wasn't aware of that, because you don't get that in your videos. probably because you're already so practiced. but it's amazing what you can do. Thank you for always showing us such great tips and tricks.😘🌸🤗👏👏👏
You are so welcome! Yes, there isn't always time in every makeup video to thoroughly explain what I'm doing. And many times these things become just "automatic"....taking the time to think through each step that I do was hopefully helpful to many others!🥰💖
I found this very helpful- I have a condition called Horner's Syndrome which causes my left upper lid to droop and make the eye smaller. I struggle to make them match- and have not found anything before today to help- thank you so much!!
I never noticed but this sure pertains to me. I’m waiting on cataract surgery in April so I don’t see great but I noticed in pictures how different my eyes look. Thank you so much for this
Thank you so much for this! I have the EXACT same issue-----my left eye is lower, smaller and more downturned while my right eye is bigger but more hooded-----and have been struggling trying to correct the asymmetry. The bad thing is that, because I've been staring so much at it trying to figure out how to fix it I've found I've become pretty self-conscious about it. BUT! And I'm really not just saying this as a throwaway compliment-----I sincerely mean it-----I think you are just beautiful and had you never pointed out your *flaws* I wouldn't have noticed them. Or, because this is my first time coming across one of your videos, maybe I would have noticed at some point with more exposure to you but it wouldn't have made you any less beautiful in my opinion. That actually helps my own confidence level quite a lot because I'm going to assume it's that way with most people. Who goes around looking for perfection in other people anyway? I certainly don't. So thank you on both levels!
Ahhh I love your technical term of “smooshing” 😂🤣😂 That was fabulous and you’re the master of fixing the flaws we all have!!! It all looks so good my fiend and I never new you had some issues too 😁😉❤️🥰😘
Right?!😆 I used to teach a jewelry making class and was always using those technical terms....my students used to get a kick out of those too😂😘 Thank you for your kind compliments, my friend💖
This is so brilliant that I'm sitting here with a diagram of an eye, making detailed notes!! 😂 Thank you so much for this. Our "flaws" are what make us unique and interesting - they are definitely not mistakes! Although, having said that, my eyebrows honestly seem to belong to two different people! 😂😂
Oh you are the best student ever!!🤩 Totally agree...if we were all "perfect", how boring would that be?! I think brows are a lifelong challenge for some of us😘
Wow, this was like going behind the Wizard of Oz’s curtain! I’d always kind of subconsciously wondered how come your eyes always looked identical after you’d applied your makeup but I’d never noticed you doing anything different on each eye. Very clever! 👏👏👏
You are so pretty!! Great tutorial! May I ask if you have always has asymmetrical eyes or only as you have gotten older? Mine have been as I have gotten older or maybe I’ve always had a weaker eye but it is more pronounced now. I have been thinking of trying eyelid tape on one eye.
New sub here. I found you looking for self tanners and this is the first video I see of you without makeup. My God, no wonder you are so beautiful, you have a perfect canvas to begin with 🤯
A great tutorial and enjoy everything. I learned something new about correcting my eyes. My natural hair color is dark brunette with hazel eyes. I was told to change my color to red with highlights, I did. Since 1993. The only problem is my eye brows. I did for a while bleaching them out only to have dark eye brows appear. No more that. I am using a lighter brow pencil that seems to work. Watching you put your brows on and extending the brow in and the shade of your brow pencil matches so well that you can put a higher arch and looks like your hair color. To bring my brows in where there is no hair maybe I could use to shades of pencils. Since I am dealing with those dark brows. I use Benefit products. Not sure you can help me. Thank you again. Judy
I'm so glad you enjoyed this and found it helpful!!💞 Brows can be tricky, especially when you need to alter the color to match your hair. Two suggestions: 1) You definitely could bring in a second pencil color to help extend the arch. I'm not sure if you've tried the NYX brow pencils but they have two "auburn" shades that might work well for you. 2) Have you considered using a tinted brow gel to cover over the dark hairs? If not, that might be the perfect "temporary" solution so you only need one color of pencil. NYX, Ulta, Benefit & Anastasia Beverly Hills all have a brow gel in an auburn shade. Hope that is helpful!
@@SharaleesBoxOfChocolates Sharalees wow. You have been a big help and I will check out everything you mentioned. Thank you for taking the time to reply. You have beautiful skin and your very pretty.
Oh I'm so glad this video provided helpful tips and the confidence boost you needed!💗 Thank you for your sweet compliments🥰
I have the same eye difference!
Great video.
You do it so pretty!
I suck at putting makeup on.
Beautiful WISH YOU SHARE THE NAME OF MAKEUP
Ahhh I love your technical term of “smooshing” 😂🤣😂 That was fabulous and you’re the master of fixing the flaws we all have!!! It all looks so good my fiend and I never new you had some issues too 😁😉❤️🥰😘
Right?!😆 I used to teach a jewelry making class and was always using those technical terms....my students used to get a kick out of those too😂😘 Thank you for your kind compliments, my friend💖
Great tips and very helpful!! You make it look so easy! Thank you! 🥰
You are so welcome! Glad you picked up some helpful tips😍
You did a wonderful job once more! ❤️👍
😂 Oh I love that reference!! Glad you enjoyed this little peak behind the curtain😘
Love the looks 😍
You are so pretty!! Great tutorial! May I ask if you have always has asymmetrical eyes or only as you have gotten older? Mine have been as I have gotten older or maybe I’ve always had a weaker eye but it is more pronounced now. I have been thinking of trying eyelid tape on one eye.
wow that was so helpful.....Thank you so much
Yay!! You are most welcome💕
this is very helpful! thank you!
Your skin is amazing ☺️☺️
Awww, thank you🥰
New sub here.
I took a look at my eyes and it sure takes practice on how to place eyeshadow to correct the shape ♥♥♥♥
💕♥
Thank you, I have asymmetrical eyes and I needed some help. ❤
So glad this was helpful!😍
Loved the video..thank you. My issue is I can not find an eye liner that will stay on my eyes…doesn’t matter if it is water proof or not it will not stay on my lower lid.
I will need to practice this I have a feeling it will be a journey. Question I was always told not to use eyeliner under eyes makes them look smaller?
I recently found your videos and I love them but I cannot make my eyes look as good as yours. I am 62 and have the dreaded hooded eyes and forget about my eyebrows which are barely there. I just cannot get them to look even let alone look good. I have watched this video over and over but still cannot master the look but so appreciate you videos. You are beautiful and the fact that your are a Christian, I enjoy them even more. I will continue to watch and practice. LOL
Thank you for this tutorial. I have the same problem. I don’t see where you list products. Please and thank you.
I love your lipstick, what shade and brand is it?
You really are stunning, Sharalee! Just a beautiful lady! Have a blessed weekend...
Awww, thank you🥰♥️ You too!!
Beautiful!
