This is probably the most successful "mashup" ever. It creates an entirely new piece of work that sounds like a complete composition. Really impressive.
Finally, two songs I really love. And Blackwells's paranoia justified by all the snow consumption from Ozzy. Very organic.

I say 2024 Bill has reached his peak so far. And as far as I can tell he already aims for new heights. This criminally insanely awesome! Not only the music is perfectly chosen and arranged, even the titles make sense when combined. A genius at work.
When I see a Bill McClintock mashup posted, it's like Christmas Day. You know it's gonna be a great video.
Absolutely no single second of this feels forced or awkward... it flows like it was always made this way! Even the got-danged video is smooooth. Ozzy's turn and move right after MJ starts the moonwalk looks like Ozzy is one smooth criminal! Awards on all fronts on this one, Mr. McClintock!
When it comes to Mr. McClintock, the word "genius" can never be overused.

This has to be one of your best if not your best mash! Right from the beginning the integration of the guitar fits perfectly! And then Ozzy sounds like he's rapping to it....what! Yes this is pure genius, Love, Love, Love It!
Love the MJ clips since that song would be nothing without his voice, regardless of who Rockwell's parents are.
Haha, yep, Rockwell's dad is Berry Gordy, who was then president of Motown Records.
To a lesser degree, it reminds me of Michael McDonald, who boosted the careers of Christopher Cross and Kenny Loggins when he sang with them-- although they both did well on their own. But the Doobie Brothers lagged after McDonald did so, much like the Jackson 5 couldn't continue as strong without MJ.
Amazing. I love that in a way it highlights how talented Ozzy is. No huge riffs to overshadow his strong melodies and haunting performance.

I've heard a LOT of music mashups over the years. Many have sounded "really good", and a few have even been so good that you wonder if the songs could have unknowingly been recorded so that they could be combined. And, then, you get those rare gems...like this one...where they sound so perfect together, that you could actually imagine it having been recorded that way. The tonality of Ozzy's & Michael's voices are so perfectly matched. And, as for the instrumental sections, those, too, have a perfectly-meshed tonality. 👍👍

@@mistekful I think he was referring to more nuanced aspects of the mash-up process, like tonality and timbre, not just key. You can take two songs in the exact same key that will neverthless sound like crap when mashed-up, but then there's Bill.

I like Black Sabbath, though I've never been that big on "Snowblind" (it just doesn't speak to me); but this mashup makes it sound incredible.
