If you lived through the 80s, then you know the influence Billy had on our generation.
Yes I lived through the 60's till now watching(hearing) rock n roll get better and better. Metallica still blows me away. I will always love most of rock n roll forever. Hope we can jam in Heaven! Can't wait to meet sooo many musicians!
Hell yeah 👍

Joking... Sort of.
Yes he should..has met all the criteria in my book. I have loved him since the 80's.

If Janet Jackson can be in the ROCK & ROLL Hall of Fame, Billy Squier should be there for sure.

This was an amazing time for performing musicians. I don't think this Dude gets his due. This song is a straight up masterpiece.
I agree, MASTERPIECE!!
He has about 5 songs like this. No, he got forgotten by 1986. It's a shame because he had some banger songs from early 80s that still hold up today.
I hear a little zeppelin in his songs
He made the unfortunate decision to allow someone else to steer the course of his future. And it failed. This is an era you can't ever replace. Was a great time to be a teen 🤟
Yep, as are Lonely is the Night, My Kinda Lover, Everybody Wants You. I know The Stroke got a ton of airplay and still does.
All of us still listening to this in 2024 because we know good music 👍

When rock n roll was at it's highest level. Billy Squire needs to make a comeback to save rock.
It was released in 1981.
🤘
I saw him in 1982, in Mobile, Alabama. My best friend and I went to it together. We actually went to several concerts together. Not Peter Frampton or Fleetwood Mac though, we hadn't met yet, she was a grade younger than me.
Billy Squier's drummer is hilarious. He went ape shit on them drums. I'll never forget it. The concerts were great at the Mobile municipal auditorium, it was general admission, so if you got there really early, you can get right in front of the stage. I did it every time. One of the places in Dallas had general admission and my boyfriend and I went there for a few concerts. Ted Nugent was one of them. He's great in concert. He did only have his loin cloth on. 😂
Rock n roll died in 1994. What's he going to do revive rock for Gen X and Boomers?
Is Rock even a thing anymore? Music seems more confused than these transgender genZs...
Who's still here in 2024? Another great classic 💯

I saw the same concert, but in Pittsburgh. It was my first. Stanley Theatre. My ears rang for three days. Great show
Billy Squier and Queen.
BEST CONCERT EVER!!!! Thank you, Billy!
*fun fact - The guy I went to that concert with, oh so many years ago, contacted me a couple of years ago thru social media. He asked for my address, said he had something he wanted to send me. I gave it to him. A few days later an envelope arrived in my mailbox. Inside? The ticket stub from THAT concert! Billy Squier and Queen at the glass house in Portland, OR!! He'd actually held onto our ticket stubs from that show for 40 years, and I was beyond blown away when he gifted me the stub of the ticket I'd used to enter the show on that amazing night!
I would of liked to see you'r face when you first seen the return. ( god blessed you ) ride on. !!! ..
@@JerryBanks-ug4rq Gotta say, I was stunned! It was such a cool gift, and to think he'd kept them for 4 decades! That's so unreal! Then he sent me a pic of a cork board he had, that had stubs from a bunch of other concerts we'd gone to that summer. He only had his, or he'd have sent me mine from all of the others. It was a magical summer, for sure! We went to probably 15 or 20 shows that summer...Aerosmith, Van Halen, Def Leppard, Motorhead, Saxon, Girls School, Black Sabbath (with Dio), Ozzy (without Sabbath), Devo, Loverboy, Heart, Foreigner, Blue Oyster Cult, Sting, Cheap Trick.... wow, I'm sure I'm forgetting some! It was a great time to be a teen, for sure!

I saw the show in Albuquerque in '83. Def Leppard opened and was excellent. Don't let anyone tell you different. Billy Squire crushed it that night. Both bands were my faves and I was so excited to see them both and see them both throw down. Excellent concert, and this song killed!
Would’ve loved to see that show. Although I was just going on 10 at the time.
I saw the show at the Spectrum March 29 1983. Def Leppard opened also. I drove my 1972 Impala loaded with friends, despite not having any power steering from the Jersey shore.
I saw the same tour in Irvine, Ca. Was my first concert to go to at age 15. Great night with both bands.
I saw the show in Portland, ME. I also saw him the summer before in Worcester, MA. He opened for Pat Benatar that night. Both were awesome concerts!!
