Hi buddy. Great review the kit looks awesome i do like the late 109 i need to buy this kit and like you said buy a set of overtrees and use the rest of the decals out of the box that's cool mate. Cheers Gary 🇬🇧
Hi Rafal nice detailed review of the K-4. It looks like you studied the aircraft extensively and noted errors with the kit that some might want to fix. Have you started work on it yet?
Hi Darren. Thanks for watching. I'm glad you check my videos. Yes, there are few details to correct, but overall this model is great. I started the build some time ago, and now I'm painiting it. Hope to release full build video this month:)
@@modelfun I'm happy that you will reveal your work soon. I'm certain it will be an attractive model just like the others. Are you attempting any new techniques on this build? Also, since September I've been busy with my Revell 1/32 Lightning. I finally finished all the detail parts and now it's on to the final fuselage assembly. I hope to be finished with it by the end of the month.
I plan to experiment a bit with the weathering, but not sure how heavy I go. How was your Lightning build so far? I'm sure it will be a nice addition to your collection. Remember to share photos with me at the end :) Cheers!
@@modelfun i like the weathering you've displayed so far on your other models so I'm positive this one will be no different. Overall the P-38 build hasn't been too bad. I already dry fitted all the parts and they seem to align pretty well. Accuracy is not too bad either with the overall outline being spot on. It's certainly starting to look more and more like a Lightning out of the box. Of course being a 50+ year old kit it has it's drawbacks but I don't really mind raised panel lines and rivets as it's the vintage look I'm after. And on the plus side the decals are still usable. 🙂 I will definitely send you pictures when I'm finished.

why no swastikas for decals?
They are included, but split in two decals.
