This band is so fuckin amazing , The bass player is so out of this world man . The sound these guys put out with the vocal melodies are so awesome
Intronaut has a unique tone and I like the band for their music and respect the members for what they do.....but Danny has taken things to a level where he can be called ridiculously good. His whole style of playing is just so out of this world.
I fear their next album won't be at the same level without him.

@@lolh4x fun fact: it wasnt good without danny and intronaut has sank like the titanic. They shouldve let their personal lives be their own business. Danny walker was never charged and there wasnt any evidence of actual abuse. He got betrayed by the band. But as someone who was personal with the band, Joe Lester is the chillest guy in the band.

Joe Lester is a beast on the bass!! Such an amazing talent. Same with all the guys in the band...I always love listening to bands when the musicians know how to play their instruments!
Danny Walker, pure sound and great execution ... this dudes sound like that because of him, this band is just perfect.
Saw these guys on tour with AAL and Meshuggah. They were truly amazing.

My favorite band and my favorite drummer ! so much talent and most important, so incredibly creative. I think I must have listened to this album like 100 times and still can't get enough of it :D

Finally saw this band in NL in a most intimate atmosphere possible at a tiny club. Was one of the best live shows no doubt. Each and everyone of these guys are amazing musicians. Here the drums were restrained, but believe you me, in a live show Intronaut blows your head off

For real, I saw these guys open for Tool and I was loving the drums the whole time. He plays a lot of polyrhythms and is really impressive. Then he came to jam on Lateralus :)

They don't need anything. They can do whatever they want. There is no need for you to complain about parts of a band's sound that don't specifically pander to you. Part of the beauty and adventure of art is being drawn into things that you don't think you are going to like.

They kinda remind me of Mastodon. Whom I also love. : p
Listen to the part sometime after the 3:00 mark. A much quieter, easier-to-decipher-the-details-segment awaits you there. It's actually quite beautiful.

Mastodon, Intronaut and Baroness are all prog metal bands for the most part, each in different areas of the spectrum. I personally find Intronaut to focus on funky time signatures and heavy bass lines, Baroness focuses more on distortion and harmonies, and Mastodon is a more classic prog bands with complex riffs and abstract sounds/vocals. Just because all three bands are in the same genre doesn't mean they sound the same however it is logical for them to share some characteristics.
Stoked to the tits to see these bros with Mouth of the Architect.
