    Good review but to clear up a couple of things, the 1.5 Sport is between the LX and the 2.0 Sport. With the 2.0 Sport, you get a few more features like a moon roof, rear air vents, doorlock touch sensors, heat seats and mirrors and XM radio ready. The EX comes with all that minus the sport package and leather. so the trims are as follows: 1.5 LX, 1.5 Sport, 2.0 Sport, EX (1.5), EX-L (1.5/2.0), Touring (1.5/2.0).

I bet you the 1.5 turbo is the exact same way making much more horsepower than what they claim I bet you on the dyno this car from the factory is making 205hp & probably 215tq these newer generation Honda motors make a shitload of torque that's crazy because Honda's never had torque in previous generations, the k24 was okay but many years Honda was known as the torqueless monster's lol

      💯👍 spot on! Just like the older Trans am’s and Camaro’s when they brought back the LT1’s and the first gen LS1’s. They lied about the numbers so the Corvette owners wouldn’t cry like little babies. These two motors are completely unrated for,the same reason. I should know. I had a LS1 Trans Am and now a 2.0T accord sport. What the public really doesn’t know won’t make them second guess.

    Dude you have such a nice 🚗💨 you just need the K-tuner reflash ($350) & you will be soooo much happier. You will have more horsepower & when you drive regular gas mileage will be the same if not better, I had the 2019 SI & if I drove it regular I could get 40 MPG in the city exhaust & K-tuner that's all, now I have the 2.0t & the gas mileage sucks compared to what it was with the SI. I mean it's a Honda it's not that bad but the 1.5 turbo does so good & with the reflash it'll help pull that heavier car around & does not do any damage to the longevity of your vehicle it will probably make it last longer because their tunes r very safe. & you can flash it right back to stock no big deal for when you take your vehicle into the dealer so they won't void your warranty

    I am looking for one of these but have been stuck on the two engine options. The 2.0 is a bit too high for my budget right now, i currently have a 2012 optima, with the 2.4 200HP and i feel there wont be a big upgrade if i go with the. 1.5, as far as performance goes.
    Would you recommend to wait about another few months or the 1.5 should be fine ?

    • @eddiemcars
      @eddiemcars  4 года назад +1

      Jaime U, Based on what you told me, I would wait. Unless you’re content with the performance of the Optima. The zero-60 time and 1/4 mile time between the 1.5T Accord and Kia Optima 2.4 are similar with the 1.5 Accord barely edging out by a nose.
      The 2.0T Accord would feel like a satisfying upgrade. Have you thought about sending a few offers via Internet mangers to some dealers? You might save some cash off MSRP as they make room for 2021 models. Check out my buyers guide to car buying!

    The honda lane-keep is NOT the same as the tesla. Tesla has full fledge autopilot, it can make turns, change lanes, speed up when theirs a car approaching too fast behind you. It has a lot of safety features. Honda is NOT in the same realm as Tesla when it comes to self-driving.

    • @eddiemcars
      @eddiemcars  4 года назад +3

      Sercanfreak it’s the same technology. Tesla has enabled a few features of its ADAS but it’s Autopilot is a just a brand name. It is by no means full Auto Pilot 👨‍✈️ (at least not yet). It’s an advanced form of adaptive cruise control, which, like you said, can initiate a lane change and maybe take some evasive actions. People who operate these systems need to remember that. There’s already enough accidents with these Tesla’s especially the Model 3 where people have put too much faith in it assuming Autopilot is driving the car.
      Honda’s ADAS can control, steering, brakes and acceleration. It doesn’t have the additional 360 camera’s like the Tesla so it’s limited on its capabilities.

    • @sercanfreak1
      @sercanfreak1 4 года назад +2

      @@eddiemcars Yea sure but it is still not the same as hondas adds. I think it would be adaptive cruise control if it didn't make turns and tried to save you from accidents. Honda is still leaps behind Tesla. Teslas autopilot can recogonize road signs as well. Seems like autopilot to me.

      You will be fine . Honda makes a beastly cvt. My buddy had a civic coupe he beat the ***t out of for 124000 miles and no issues. And I mean he's from Florida and only knows full throttle or hard brakes. I felt bad for the car but it was in perfect shape when I went with him to trade it in. Keep up normal maintenance and honda is killing it.

    • @ChrisFromLongIsland
      @ChrisFromLongIsland 3 года назад +3

      I’m ranting here, but I think people worry about the CVT incessantly after people who beat the shit out of them (or compare it to an automatic when it’s not one) post on the internet. CVT’s are reliable, even Nissan’s. I drove a Nissan Murano to 200k miles and my mom’s Altima is at 105k (same year model, but doesn’t drive often). If Nissan’s CVT lasts that long you better believe Honda’s will last even longer. Just don’t floor the car every time you get off a traffic light and I promise it’ll hold as long as you keep the car.

      Nope. 1.5T has blown head gasket issues due to weak bolts and high pressure from the Direct injection engine and the turbo. Expect injector issues too. Reliability is 2.5 out of 5 for the 10th gen. 2.0L is more reliable of the 10th gen because the larger engine can haul the heavy car.
