In fiction novel "Fatherland"USA still bombed Tokyo and Nuclear bombed Japan empire and Japan surrender edu in 1946. USA also conquered Korea. ROC was free from Japan. Because of dissolvation of USSR, the world's communist movement was fast drop and there would be a cold war between Third Reich and USA.
I love how the German plan for victory was well thought out and planned and the Japanese was just “they won miraculously”
It’s the only way, aside form just not pissing off the Americans then maybe maybe we would’ve been able to see something like that
And Italy was just:
Germany helped lol
Yea their was no way Japan could win a protracted war against the United States, Neither Germany but it’s more realistic if they have no jumping point like England
Even a crippled United States would still kick Japan's ass.
Yes its called lazy writing and having no way to think of a way they could anyway.
This feels eerily like a real documentary you'd find running idly on someone's livingroom TV.
Haha yes it would be even more eerie if it was in german
@@srijemanin7924it would be followed by a special anniversary showing of “Saving private Hans”: a gritty movie about the Sealion landings renowned for its gory depiction of war. I don't usually post, but I've enjoyed your videos on Kaiserreich lore and I cant wait for you to give TNO the proper treatment.
Marvelous video you made. As you know, the campaign of TNO begins in 1962 and it would be great if you made a documentary about the first years of the Cold War between 1945 and 1962. The most interesting parts about that timeline will be the failed Atlantropa Project, the economic and political chaos within the Reich, the West Russian War and ofc not to forget, the founding of the Ordenstaat Burgund.
Thank you. There will be a sequel video covering these events.

This was brilliant, and having just got into TNO this documentary makes it seem so... realistic
Eh the dialogue makes me think that is the script for an tranteno film, also I wonder why the Germans don’t bother with ethnic cleansing. Like why bother in allowing Ukrainians, Russian etc to live when you kill burn and deal try their villages with chemical weapons and mass bombings in civilian areas
There was no way the German logistics could support the sea lion let alone take the Ireland. Their navy was outnumbered 10:1. There is no way the Germans would develop the A bomb faster and that Americans would be without the A bomb to answer. And there is no way the Germans could hold onto the Moscow and that Soviet union would fragment so much. Most realistic case scenario for Germany is a bloody stalemate and uneasy peace. And in our world the Japanese faced only half of the US navy and were obliterated. Imagine what a full US navy could do(and let's not forget their technological backwardness at that time)
@@baseddepartment285 see that I could just use denial just so we see the story go on what I can’t do is try act like the Nazis don’t act like Nazis same for the Japanese they were brutal people who didn’t wanted the extermination of Slavs it doesn’t make any sense that the Germans wouldn’t try and genocide them though any means necessary, and they could probably do it too since the Slavs couldn’t fight back in a way to really damage the nazis. gurila warfare wouldn't be affective since for that to work you would need to be able to hide in the civilian population and the nazis were killing them on mass too so it wouldn't change anything and they couldn't find out in the Russian wilderness since its not dance enough to act as shield/defense for them to be effective not to mention the Germans would almost certainly be using chemical weapons and other illegal weapons to genocide them
@@Berserker3624
1. Is in no way related to what I said
2. Germany would be left with 5 really pissed off Afganistans.
3. Hitler would be assassinated before the plan would be carried out even if they did imagine it because the thing didn't make sense logistically
4. There is no proof that it was the nazi goal, nor it makes the sense logistically
5. Italians would piss them off before anything of this happens even if the Nazis did imagine doing it. Because Mussolini wasn't for the extermination of Jews and even let them into the country, so it would be Italian empire and America and UK vs what's left of Nazis
And if it was the option for the Russians between the extermination and not having the soviet union or living but having the Soviet union. They would pick the second one for sure(which was the case in real life, the reason why didn't break like the imperial Russian army in WW1) thanks to Soviet propaganda spreading the word of extermination of slavs
@@baseddepartment285 1. Dude chill
2. What the fuck does that mean?
3. Yeah like there would be Slav in government or that paranoid Hitler would allow Jews and slavs in Europe
4. Hitler wanted German their own manifest destiny not to mention he hated them, if it was eventually confirmed then it makes logical Ameche for it to happen
5. The Italian would’ve stepped on the toes of Germans but also the allied powers if them having North Africa means anything or if it’s just America then why would they care about the nazis? In this timeline FDR was replaced by an isolationist(if memory serves correct) so why would they care about the affairs of Europe even if they went to war with Japan how does that affect the war in Asia?

This would be better than The Man in the High Castle. We need TNO tv show.
the man in the high castle is another uninteresting, boring and unoriginal film about how they overthrow the nazi regime, like wolfenstein and other games & films
a film about how it falls apart, not overthrown is much more interesting, especially if they don't censor everything and use historically inaccurate names & symbols
The fact People can splice footage together to make alternative history scenarios like this is amazing, especially in this case since it actually looks like it couldve happened

With all my dignity and respect towards you, I can say that I appreciate your video, I felt like I watched a real documentary. I never expected such a masterpiece to show through my youtube recommendation.
Man that was awesome. Two questions. Are you going to continue with this series (I sincerely hope you do)? If you do how far into the gameplay dependent lore will you go? For example, would you do a video on Tabby’s Holy Russian Empire even though that is a potential (very short lived) outcome for Russia and not a starting nation at the beginning of the TNO campaign? Another example would be the South African War.
I hope you do go into gameplay dependent lore as there are some crazy countries and events that can potentially come into existence depending on who you play as and how you play.
Anyway… well done. I really hope this series takes off.
Thanks, I am planning on continuing the series. I was planning on the show following one path. But I may do separate videos for really interesting outcomes like Tabbys, of course, if these are really popular then I might do a lot of gameplay lore outcomes.

This was a brilliant documentary about a fake event in a video game. It felt so real that it became depressing as hope is slowly lost throughout the documentary even with some unrealistic and out right impossible victory's for the Axis. I hope you make more videos about TNO or other alt history mods or events in the future.
The next episode is coming real soon, it gets even more depressing...
This makes it so realistic. As if someone went into the TNO universe and took this back
it makes it funny
It's not realistic at all
@@orangesel9338 Why?
@ThePickleTickler the only unrealistic thing was Japan attacking US... Cause the only reason they had was US joining the war as soon as they stroke French Indochina
I like how it is so “realistic” it is, though there are proven points that the axis couldn’t win the war, I still love the hypothetical, especially this one. I was actually very sad to the point of crying when video mentioned the alternative nuclear bombs and invasion of England. I feels some similarities between this video and an alternative history video about a scenario where the United States joins the axis.
I saw that one!
I love how ridiculous the story becomes when it is shown in a serious manner
Its like those over the top movies that are plaged straight and super serious. It backlash is exaggerated

But now, i was sitting, eyes wildly open and soaking in all the information of what had happen in that timeline. This was a great experience, and it truly cemented my belief in how great TNO is.
I have but one final thought to add, regardless of the superb quality of the video and its maker.

One of your best videos.
This is incredible. It is as if a videotape was found from the archives of a parallel universe US TV channel. Scarily plausible.
I can’t wait to see the Kaiserreich & Thousand week Reich too! XD
If his resources are limited I would prefer he focus on TNO as nobody else is doing that. His Kaiserreich videos are very well made, but he is competing with Kaiser Cat Cinema (who also make impressive material) on that front.
TNO, on the other hand, is criminally underserved on RUclips.
Rather than have redundant content, I would prefer he focus on TNO and maybe thousand year reich to increase interest in those alternative histories.
But at the end of the day, he is very talented and will undoubtably excel in whatever he chooses.

Sadly the lore has been changed in TNO since the latest update, FDR was elected but only served two terms, Kennedy was never elected and the US political scene was dramatically different
If only the developer team was composed of good people.
You could say that about almost any mod development team. Think about it this way; if the developers of major mods were “good people”, don’t you think they’d have actual jobs as programmers, graphic designers, and writers? The only reason they are able to commit so much time and effort into their modding is because they can’t fit in in the real world. There’s always something mental or emotional holding them back. This becomes obvious if you spend any amount of time talking to one of them. They all have issues that prevent them from functioning in the outside world, so they find likeminded people on the internet and socialize with them instead.

Despite me not thinking Germany had the slightest hope of victory in WW2, I still think you did an excellent job at making a dramatic portrayal of this Hoi4 mod (even though I think the mod creators clearly know little to nothing about what actually caused the Germans to lose in our timeline)
good that you're an expert then...
@@podex1153 what do you mean by that!
@@podex1153 *? (Sorry, I was meant to do a question mark)
Well as said in the video. There is another Point-of-Divergence in Russia. Which resulted in the USSR easily being 1/2 it's actual strength as in real life.
I also believe that due to vastly different elections the USA also has an even longer great depression. Added onto it's severe isolationism. But the increased severity of the great depression left America maybe a year behind technologically.
Now combine that with more very small differences from reality. Like the Nazis (mostly Hitler) not being as stupid. Italy actually being competent as well and thus making them NOT a liability. And Japan also being more competent. As well as very-slight LUCK on the Axis's part. These wouldn't let them win the war on their own (they'd still get destroyed), but combined with the USA and USSR being significantly weaker that is what makes them win.
Oh yeah, and literally ZERO lend-lease. Another very tiny difference.
I hope this helps explain it!!
😎
If Spain and Turkey joined the Axis they could have won
Love the quality
The part about Japan attacking the USA because of oil shortages is incorrect. IRL, Japan only had oil shortages because of embargoes placed on them by FDR. In this timeline, no FDR means no embargo. Japan wouldn't have attacked the USA.

The Good Ending
Italy is like that one friend who did nothing in the group project
It is assumed they gained the African, Balkan and Greek territories they desired to restore at least in part the Roman Empire.
Fascism would've kept its hold on Italy for decades to come, the only reason it fell was thanks to the Allies.
The italian people would've undoubtedly not been able to resist the dictatorship if it weren't for Germany occupying Italy with the Allies pouring in, creating the opportunity for an uprising.
A strong italy is a terrifying scenario.
So mainly germany win in this scenario cuz Stalin and Roosevelt wasnt there
In part, yes.
Stalin's resistance to Operation Barbarossa helped keep the Wehrmacht spread thinner (the Italian Front in WW1 showed just how important the Eastern Front is to keep the German forces occupied) which undoubtedly helped UK forces somewhat.
Roosevelt not being president here hardly matters, it seems that the timeline for the US followed pretty much the same order, with the exception of the UK capitulating, meaning the US had no way to support them in Africa (cuz they surrendered and were pushed out of the Canal) and there were no plans for a european invasion due to the overwhelming strength of the Wehrmacht.
It seems the biggest factor here, is that the RAF was unable to hold their own against the Luftwaffe, that's what ultimately doomed the war since while a lot of people like to think the US entering the war meant total victory, the UK not being able to be there from 1941 onwards meant a lot of fronts just did not even have the chance to exist, leaving the US to fend off the Japanese and just support the UK during the invasion which ultimately was a lost cause.
You can argue the UK lost with the invasion due to the terrible USSR leadership causing a successful Barbarossa I guess but I like to think that the UK defending themselves was not up to Stalin holding his own, but rather the UK just being effective.
love how you can tell exactly where they needed to hand-wave things for an axis victory
"yeah sure japan just won at midway, don't ask how"
"yeah sure the luftwaffe just beat the RAF over britain, don't ask how"
and of course, "long-range german bomber"
It's still crazy that those two battles basically changed the course of the war entirely.
The UK's victory over the Luftwaffe is what allowed them to keep their forces to eventually push out Italian and German forces in Africa with the help of American troops in Operation Torch.
The US holding their own in the pacific is what allowed them to continue fighting the industrially inferior Japan, that was still fighting out of honor and not actual chance of victory.
The nuclear program in Germany being the one ahead instead of Project Manhattan also meant that the Allies ultimately had no chance to win, as the entire purpose of the nuclear bomb race was to have an undoubtably 100% chance of victory.
It takes just 3 diversions for the entire course of the war to change, it's actually insane that had the RAF not held their own, the war would've undoubtedly been lost in Europe, as US troops would've done little in Europe, probably just focused on the pacific until Germany inevitably just nuked them because the US in that case would not be working on an atomic bomb, as the purpose of it was to beat Germany before they capitulated.
"The kingdom of Italy managed to occupy the Suez Canal" as Italian: really😮?
I'd honestly love to know how the Japanese would have achieved such a turnaround: if the Americans were already on IWO JIMA, then the Japanese Navy should have already been removed from the playing field, never mind been able to orchestrate any sort of attack. and where did this "long range German Bomber" launch from? any Japanese holdings within even long-range of Hawaii would have been overrun or cut off. I get that the Axis need to "win" for the scenario to unfold, but for the US to lose so heavily when they were already on Japan's doorstep really kills any suspension of disbelief.
If the Nazis did have an A-bomb, wouldn't they use it on an east coast U.S. city, like Boston, Providence, RI, or Hartford or Groton, CT?
Good video. All semi believable with a significant pinch of salt, that is right up until operation sealion...
I like how the TNOdevs are trying to make TNO as realistic as possible while the background lore is unrealistic as shit.
American Isolationism is a fiction and unrealistic.
The Japanese Imperial and naval codes were broken in 1940.
FDR not wining the election is unrealistic as he was the Wallstreet candidate
Love the video, you nailed the butchering japanese names part of American documentaries as well! ナイフ
It is sad how the allies wanted war
Wow this must have took ages
ABSOLUTELY AMAZING
Good video, and I know it’s based on a mod for HOI4, but this is incredibly unlikely to be how an Axis victory would’ve occurred. Realistically the only ways in terms of grand strategy that Germany could’ve won would’ve been:
A: more competency(not that they lacked skilled commanders, but there were some kinks that could’ve been buffed out), and better supplies on the Eastern Front.
2: Britain either stays neutral or formed an alliance with Germany, which for anyone who knows about the lead up to WWII would know this might’ve happened had the pro-war faction led by Churchill not been so well funded and coordinated. Chamberlain was on at least cordial terms with Germany and detested the idea of another world war.
3: The US doesn’t declare war on Germany or hinder shipping. Japan dropped the ball hard here and basically wrote Germany’s death sentence because of it. Roosevelt would have of course still supplied England with supplies because he was also pro war/anti Germany but he would’ve had less ability to do so.
4: Germany recruits the Slavs who wish to fight against the USSR. Several million men had volunteered but Germany was untrustworthy of the new populations under their flag.
Russia would’ve fallen eventually,
if the part about several million slavs volunteering but were denied is true then someone was definitely in hitler's ear giving bad advice
While the timeline presented is entirely unbelievable and frankly stupid, it was a good video.

My only problem with this is:
If the soviet union were as weak as it was said to be in the video then japan would have conquered mongolia and siberia instead of the pacific. The only reason why they attacked america is because they saw the USA as weak, or at least weaker than the USSR. Both siberia and the pacific had the ressources that japan needed.
