I’ve been getting a lot of questions on where I got the dice ham. I got it at Walmart. It’s in with all the other canned meats. They have shredded and diced!

Hi. from London, Ontario. Canada. Thanks for the reminder on substituting applesauce for egg. I have a substitution list and this is helpful in making a grocery list to stock my pantry.
I put green beans in with my potatoes and ham and sometimes I add dried minced onions.
I would add some maple syrup into the cobbler corn bread mix.

I learned after starting to try and create meals with my stocked pantry that I wasn't as stocked as I thought I was. People don't realize how difficult it is to use the shelf stable foods to create meals. I mean who wants to be in a bad situation only able to eat like cans of corn

When we list power for 2 weeks because of Hurricane Sandy I was thrilled for all my home canned meats. Added to shelf stable items we were set. I even "rebel" can milk which was awesome for coffee

Everything looked really good. I never would of thought to use the cornbread mix on the cobbler, I'm going to have to try it that way. when I saw the picture of the cobbler I thought us used biscuit mix which would be tasty too. Also is you didn't have that pancake mix might work too. I love seeing what different people come up with in meal ideas. Love your channel

Where did you get that canned ham? I get the ones from ALDI and I’ve made ham and bean soup with it. I would have never thought to try jiffy cornbread as a topping for a cherry cobbler.
