    what ive learned over the years a 4an nitrous feed line it usually dies out in the 275ish area. 6an feed will feed quite a bit more lol.

    I had a 4.0 jeep Cherokee with a fogger single nosel no jets full of timing and it went through 6 big bottles and a few 10 pound bottles. It was 30 plus 10 pound bottles and it would fly. Hills that I use to have to get a run at I could start from the bottom from a stand still. I sold it and the guy rode it forever without the nitrous but a spark plug ground strap broke and hurt the motor. It was more fun than anything I’ve ever done.

    Richard I was just wondering... alot of guys don't realize they have another option for their LS ignition controller. Daytona Sensors part# 119007 may not be as popular, but is made in the U.S. and it a nice piece. 480$ gets the controller and harness. I would like to see a comparison of the MSD and Dayton. I know that may not be feasible considering you already have the MSD in house at Westech. Thank you for all you do Richard, we appreciate you!

      there would be no difference in power if they both provide the same timing

    • @neilsmith8790
      @neilsmith8790 Год назад +1

      I have read numerous reports of the msd setup having problems. I can't remember exactly what, seems like maybe timing wasn't very stable. People that switched to the daytona one reported much better results. This may or may not indicate a widespread problem with the msd stuff, I don't know.

    A nitrous drift car would get expensive quick. A street racing or drag car could use this setup for sure. The amount spent on nitrous after only 5 refills would cover the turbo + parts...although I know not everyone wants to go down the turbo route. Nitrous definitely has it's utility in sleeper builds as well. Hide the bottle in a gym bag!

    If you have a engine that has 400hp and add 14.5.lbs of boost it'll double the hp to 800 hp.
    Now I heard on a N/A engine what ever size stroke you have in the engine if you add 1,000 hp shot of nitrous it doubles the size of the stroke....this came straight from Lewis from fuel-tech......is there any truth to this Richard or am I saying it wrong...lol
    Thanks for your videos I learn so much.

    • @loundclear9279
      @loundclear9279 Год назад +1

      I would not say double the stroke but , if you have a na motor that makes 600 Hp you hit it with 600 shot of nitrous you gonna make 1200 plus
      As you said with boost a 500 Hp na motor will make 1000 Hp above or at 1 bar
      It’s all math and science

    Appreciate you and all your videos. Great informative stuff... Again, I do think videos comparing the LS 6.2 vs 6.4L Hemi and addition testing on the 392 Hemi would be very popular videos. I wish I would have kept my old 6.4L Hemi Engine which blew a Lifter, I would have donated to you. I’ve have several LS motors in the past LS3, LS9, etc. And I’ll probably get an Vehicle with an LT Engine in the future. You just see so many chargers, challengers, scat packs, etc, now a days. I think many would like to see testing on 392 vs 376, 383...

      What do I have to loose! The 460's are cheap! And I'm still considering my options! But, that hit of 500ft of torque right off the line! We've ran both combinations! In lighter combinations the Windsor combinations are faster! I have a tci c4, it's worth 30 something horse powered over a c4 small block combo. But, a 460 combination with a c6 will last forever! Considered a turbo Windsors combo, but this is just shits and giggles! A 200 shot of gas on a 460! Who cares if UT breaks, we got 3 of them! I'm 63, my father left me the truck! I bought another truck for spare parts! If I decide I wanna go faster, I'll get a set of ladder bars and build a real big block Ford!
