Awesome visualization skills! I get that it's just a tiny part knowing how to use various solidworks tools. The bigger part is visualizing and then deciding upon a strategy to employ. Once the strategy is in place it follows more or less intuitively what tools to use. I am sure someone else might have a different strategy and therefore a different tactics following entirely different pathway to reach the same destination. As a mechanical engineer who is also an industrial designer I can appreciate both approaches to visualization - an engineering approach of seeing an assemblage of various geometric shapes and a designer approach of seeing various surfaces merging into one another as they do in organic/natural things. I am stunned!
If you cannot select the areas to be removed in 50:45 with trim surfaces (solidworks 2018), it is because the sketch is not a single enclosed sketch. To resolve this you need to have a single enclosed sketch by removing the intersection of the straight slot and the rectangles. I am not aware of an easier way but what I did was to turn the straight slot into a construction geometry, draw sketch lines on top of the straight construction lines and 3-point arcs on top of the curved construction lines of the geometry. Then you will see the whole sketch becoming gray on the inside and so you can use trim surfces.
the best way to do complex surfacing is to use sculpting software I think, like Blender or maya (not engineering software), but the real struggle cames when you try to run a stress analysis on it (FEM) and it's hard to cotrol the sizes too, at least for me, I tried a model on ABAQUS and it had like thousands of faces (Model created on Blender), even with the murge feater it still has much data to proccess. I'm not an expert so I believe that there're more alternatives like 3D scan on Solidworks after creating a model in other software. I heard about a software created by Autodesk called Allias, it's specialized for design. if you have ideas about this matter, please share them :)
But this is a tutorial for newbies, if you bypass too many details some users could get lost. If you fin the video easy, you can accelerate it. This is what I do in most of FreeCAD tutorials.
It looks OK, but I noticed that that the spline/surface conditions are only tangent and not G2 or ideally G3. So this would be no good as a production CAD solution. Modelling this to G3 would be significantly more challenging.
hi, I'm having problems to connect on 17:20 one spline point to the otherone, did you do something else?, cause my solidworks doesn't seem to snap to anything on the projected cuve
why do you all need the sldprt file? Just follow the tutorial! :P Just completed the mouse! It was great, thanks! I wonder how you'd tackle the mousewheel~
Boundary surface is supposed to make a surface between 4 curves. TECHNICALLY he is incorrectly using boundary surfaces because he only uses 2 curves that connect at the end points. This creates a singularity at those points. Don't get me wrong, it works... sometimes. Other times this can create issues when you thicken the surface. Surface lofts create surfaces thru as many "cross sections" as you desire, and you can include guide curves for the other direction if you want to.
Insert another sketch (on new plane) behind sketch7 and similar to it and piercing with curve1 and add it in the boundary surface guiding curve, then it will be as you want! :)
hide the surface offset and delete face afterwards. it will work. when you try to delete the face and select, it actually selects the newly created surface-offset instead of the old face.
if you wish please make a joystick controller tutorial on wheelchair, as shown below drive.google.com/open?id=1rdaAgnUzGcfNQx-tQwnnwEe8oY39Znvq I have difficulty in making it on solidwork, I made the image in CorelDraw thank you very much

You safe My Life Thanks2
Thanks to you I learned how to use the curved surface!!!
Fantastic!!
Lol. In the first 20 minutes, I did learn more than in a whole lesson of 2 hour at school.
When 2 scammers collaborate...
@Brixton Adrian unfriend yourself from his friends list coz he dont deserve a fcuking scamster like you
opravdu skvělé video, doporučuji zhlédnout celé👍👍👍

Very Good! I lerned a lot with this tuto! The best chanel about SW ever! Thanks!
Great Sir ... It is amazing what you can do with Solidworks. You're really a great master. Thanks to sharing your knowledge with SW novices like me.
Very succesful tutorial. But i am very curios about where do you get dimensions and angles of these parts?
great works! Though no audio, it is excellent. If someone knows how to sketch, they can follow it though not easy. Thanks for this tutorial!
imagine trying to model an entire human face using this method, solidworks just isn't so intuitive when it comes to curved faces, great tutorial

a lot of steps can be shortened using mouse gestures and not having to click the menu items every time
But this is a tutorial for newbies, if you bypass too many details some users could get lost.

Very informative. Just need some various radius on the base and side contours.
Before you clicked thicken did the mouse not have any thickness? We're those flat surfaces?
why all tutorial dont have voice relating mouse?
Very good question

Really good tutorial, would recommend watching in double speed, as its a bit slow otherwise but its very good!
Should there be audio on this video?
I don't think so.
great tutorial sad that views are so less despite having the best tutorial in the world.
guiri
hey, i don't understand what's he doing in 2:39 ? you can explain me?
Hello I have a problem in the minute 33 to 35 I can´t create the entity to the point, the entity appear complete, I hope and someone could help me
thanks Sir,
but please how can i get some shiny image by modeling like yours?? i have try everything but the image still looking mat
very beautiful creation
Could any tell me on how to delete FACE 1???
sick mouse dude
great works!
i can´t make coincident for some reason, any command i can use or how do you make it?
Awesome video, btw, it seems so similar to Logitech mouse M186 on my hand.
Could you share the specification of your machine?
we have to do this for our exam this year
me too. Leaving Cert DCG?
Could you guys delete FACE ??
right click and press delete
can you please share the blue print of all your models.....please so that we can have an idea how to develop
Great tutorial, nice to find videos like this
Just wondering how you obtain all the lengths and angles measurements you input?
i am also curious about this
hi, I'm having problems to connect on 17:20 one spline point to the otherone, did you do something else?, cause my solidworks doesn't seem to snap to anything on the projected cuve
Having the same problem ? did you fix it?
How does he get those calculations ?
Hi ! Thank you one more time !
why do you all need the sldprt file? Just follow the tutorial! :P Just completed the mouse! It was great, thanks! I wonder how you'd tackle the mousewheel~
lol take a look at my channel :p
can u share the blueprint(sketch)of your model
what model of mouse is this or is based on. thanks
nice content for lear design
I want to know the difference between loft and boundary

@@patriot_1776 I agree. Well said.
tutorial is ultimate,
where do I get sketches of what you are doing .
On sketch 4, what are these 139, 34 dimension values for?
Are these the diameters at the selected point of the curve?
No sound?
Can u post glv valve body design sir
36:06 not able to trim surface .....can anyone help!?
very Perfect
Great Job. thnx for the share
very nice. thanks alot
The upper surface is not perfect - has the hill beneath palm center
Insert another sketch (on new plane) behind sketch7 and similar to it and piercing with curve1 and add it in the boundary surface guiding curve, then it will be as you want! :)
Hi, How are you? Can you make a two-piston pump?
hola, Como está? puede hacer un tutorial de una bomba de dos pistones?
kept adjusting the volume for nothing
Muchas gracias, me ayudó bastante
at the end you can see a hump on the back
Bravo 👍👏👏
I can't delete the face at 31:33
I couldn't delete face as well. did you manage to solve it??
hide the surface offset and delete face afterwards. it will work.
when you try to delete the face and select, it actually selects the newly created surface-offset instead of the old face.
Thank you
@@imnotsickiminsane Thank you ~:)

awsome !!
can you hear me?
why have voices wh
Thanks
on minute 31:34 It was impossible to delete Face
right click and hide the offset so that delete face can be applied. They show what is remaning after the command is executed
Thanks
@@gpapanikolaou Thank you so much:)
