I just got into Amazon and I am now uploading my candles/products into it. I’m at the part where it’s asking for UPC or GTIN I am wondering if you had to apply for your candles or did you ask for an exemption? @@catherineayerasgarcia9985 Hi Kate, yes you need to buy barcodes for each of your candles. Then you use the barcode number as the GTIN. I use GS1 UK but I think you will have to find a Canadian version of this xx
@@catherineayerasgarcia9985 and you don’t have to actually use or apply these barcodes, you just have to have them, it’s a bit pointless really but you can’t get around it x

Surgery was eventful! lol. Fill you in on Sundays Vlog. I use a great app called ‘Unsplash’ where you can use any of the photos without credit. Or sometime I use ones available on ‘Canva’. Or some are actually really old ones my friend who’s a photographer took for me in Switzerland 🌲

Thank you Catherine 🥰 I price my candles the same across all platforms just so people don’t feel like they’re getting anything different. Sometimes delivery will be different though. Most platforms will make you guarantee that you aren’t selling cheaper elsewhere 😁 xx
@@WILDRACECO follow up question, do you follow the x 4 of your COG rule when pricing your candles? If this is confidential information, I understand. I’m just confused on how my candle is worth selling. A lot of people talk about different ways of pricing their candles. I wanted to know your formula on pricing :) thanks again and hope you are doing well!
@@catherineayerasgarcia9985 Yes I personally do, it’s the only way I can ensure I make enough profit from wholesaling which is a huge seller for me 😁 I actually have kinda over x4 this past few months just because I’ve managed to buy my materials in a bigger bulk and have reduced my own costs a little. When I first launched years ago though I think I was paying like £5 for my candles and selling at £10 😂 But had to change when I wanted to wholesale! If I wasn’t wholesaling at all - I would do x3 and just undercut everyone else and make more sales but less profit per candle as I think that would work better if no plans for wholesale cx
I hope you are doing well after your surgery. I think you mentioned you could give a recommendation for a product photographer. Although I am not based in the UK, I really don't seem to find anyone who does photos in the style I am looking for. Could you make a recommendation?
@@cottingcandles1645 Hi, I would have a look on instagram or ‘Fiver’ for photographers. I’ve worked with 5 over the past 3 years. I dont like to mention the name of mine anymore as all our photos will end up looking identical haha 😛 xx
