Congratulations on your 4 yr business anniversary 🥰🎊 Thank you for all you do ! Wishing you many many more years of success, watching you grow from video 1 up until this point has been so inspiring & you’ve always kept it real ! Thank you & congratulations again on 4 yrs ♥️
Congratulations Erica! I’ve watched your entire journey for scratch and I can’t help but feel like a failure! I’ve been testing for YEARS and I just can’t get the throw and smell the way that works for me. Then I’ve had to change vessels so that means more testing. I feel I’ll forever be in the testing mode and never have the motivation to move to actual production.
I’m really happy you have created this! I just got myself back into it and I love it. I could really use business advice, can’t wait to get my copy! Congratulations 🎉 on 4 years in business 🎉
Congrats! The marketing of your products is by far the hardest part. Most people just skip over the details of that. It’s easy to create a product, but it’s way harder to convince people to buy it from you. Do you do any type of ads or marketing on Facebook or Pinterest or Google?
Congratulations and here's to many more going forward, abundantly! I've learned a lot from your videos and I truly appreciate it. I've been playing with resin and jesmonite for the past 5-6 years (as a hobby and for relaxation) but recently discovered candle making videos and I'm hooked. I've watched tons of them but I'm seriously intimidated but the business side of it; I'm more into the creating and pouring. I've been unemployed for a few months now and in theory I have a lot of time to practice, but I'm on a different continent so I have to sort of 'translate' the business advice you give to my country's legislation and that gives me a lot of pause haha; it really cuts your creative wings, you know? But anyway, big congratulations to you, guys! You are awesome!
Erica. I have been following your training programs and I am really enjoying your most recent work. I am just getting started and I have made a number of test candles, but I don't know what a really good candle should be like. Working with you, I trust you and I would love to buy one of your candles so I can have a solid target to work towards. Right now I am working with a fragrance called Frazer Fir from CandleScience and I like it because it has a clearly discernable scent. Could you recommend one of your candles for me to use as a model. Thank you for your help and congratulations on being a new Mommy. Joseph Brumbeloe

You had mentioned in a video I watched over a year ago a software we can use the help us manage the supplies that go into a product which helps us figure out pricing and manage inventory with each sale of a products. Example: How much fragrance, wax, wicks and dye go into one candle and how much that cost so every time I sell that candle, it will deduct those recourses from my inventory. Sorry if there is an easier way to say this lol Do you remember what that site was called?
@@MemoryBoxCandleCo You rock thank you so much. I noticed they dont have an App correct? Just website? I have learned soo much for your videos. Thank you so much for all your content and information over the years!
Erica, question? Is Inventora only available for a Shopify store? I still have mine, but decided to start out on Etsy. Please let me know how to get the program? Thank you SO much in advance for your time and response!
I’m one of those people who started and still am local. My only issue is pricing. I live in Canada where supplies and shipping are high. I cannot for the life of me make a candle for less than $8. And I just can’t justify selling my 8.oz candles for $32 minimum. Who would want to buy them when you can get bigger candles for less at department stores? And That price doesn’t even include the cost of packaging products 😭
Im getting defeated I can't make the leap yet to make it a true business. Selling to friends and friends of friends, using the profit to just buy other containers and wicks to find the best fit but I can't make it work to a point I'm satisfied with the results. I do have some returning customers but I have reasons I'm not happy with it, I feel like I'm close but don't have the money to just keep testing endlessly
I highly recommend asking a seasoned candle maker to test your candles. There are many makers who are willing to do this for you. I test candles for others, for free. I can’t tell you how many makers have told me they almost gave up until I tested their candles and gave them tips and tricks. Good luck & keep going. ❤
The COGS for my 5oz candle in Australia is $12AUD. No one’s gonna pay $48 + 10% for a 5 oz candle. I think the COGS X 4 formula is flawed for most of us who don’t live in America.

What’s the issue? How is your process? Are you just not getting enough performance?
I feel the same way, so even tho it doesn't help your process, know you're not alone. 😢
What wax are you using, and have you tried different fragrance oil brands? I switched waxes, and it made a huge difference in my hot throw!

Do you get professional pics done for instagram? If not, do you edit your own pics?
I have a mix of photos I have taken (I edit those myself too) and photos from photographers!
